Circumcision status of your friends

All of my friends are cut. Some I've seen at the gym, some I know because of their religion (Jewish), and some we have talked about in conversation. One of my friends had a baby and he said that he and his wife were having the baby circumcised. We all agreed that it was much easier to be cut as an infant than as an adult and the topic just went from there.

I've just answered this question in a thread specifically about the UK, so I'll copy the answer here..

Just like you I am from the UK and cut. I was done at birth, so growing up when I knew someone else was like me I tended to try and be friends with them as we had something in common. I am still good friends with one of the other cut guys and in touch with many. There were at least 3 in my primary school class and perhaps 15% of my secondary year - that I was aware of anyway!

I have also got several friends through work that are either Muslim or Jewish, so I would say that I probably have a good percentage of close friends that are circumcised. Definately well above the national average anyway, which is pretty low to start with.

I have never seen but one uncut dick and the owner was a French dude I played with while I was in college. In the 1970s and early 80s when the majority of my friends were born the circumcision rate was apparentloy nearly 100%. I get mistaken for being uncut be cause I still have a lot of foreskin.

For some reason, I end up knowing the cut status of friends (or infering it). Seems util I know it, i am curious to find out. Once it is known, I just keep a mental catalogue.

At high school, I started by looking at the guys changing in underwear. A few years later when we started to take showers, I got to verify my catalogue when I saw them nude.

Later on, I got to see their status through sports clothes (cycling, swimming), urinals or sometimes just discussions.

I kinda like to guess what peoples cut status is, a bit like guessing if a woman is shaved or not.

I have one good friend who is cut, but the majority aren't.

From the showers at work, there are a number of guys who are cut, and some of my 'guesses' were way off the mark!

Glad to know there are other guys who wonder about the status of their mates. How do you generally find out? Do you ask straight up, take a peek at the urinal? It was much easier at school when we used to shower together after sport because everyone's status was on show.

Having been born in Michigan, US during the Dr Spock influenced era, I am cut and all of my cousins, brother, godsons, in-laws, buddies from grade school through college and since are cut. My cam-buds too. I only recently have seen in person an uncut cock for the first time, a nice dude who gave me a great BJ here in S CA. Most of my friends are circumcised. We share sex information, advise and talk about sex and porn a lot, so the topic comes up sometimes. I'm uncut however and one of my friends is as well (we masturbated together a few years back). I think most of my cousins are cut (not sure, seen eachothers dicks as kids but fuck if I can recall that far back, lol) and my dad is uncut also. I think a good portion of males in Washington state didn't have circumcision forced onto them.

Not sure why people are so secretive about this kind of thing either. I don't care if my friends know I'm uncut.

Funnily enough one of my uncircumcised friends was getting a handjob and the girl who did it actually broke his foreskin (don't ask me how he wouldn't notice while it was going on, he's kind of stupid).

He had to get a circumcision at the age of about 15

I've had small cuts and they heal fine..... I never tore anything however and can't imagine doing so. =/

Most of my current friends are uncut. I've seen most of them camping, in the gym shower, or casually nude at home. Growing up in the 60's and 70's, most of my friends in school were cut. (I'm uncut, and I was the freak!:wink

A bit of both, and also traveling with them gives opportunity for a peek.

Most of my mates were born in big Sydney maternity hospitals in the mid-80s when circ was actively discouraged. I'd say about 80% are still intact, and are disturbed by the thought of getting any sons they might have "snipped".

Found out one of my good friends got circumcised when he was 20. No medical reason, he just wanted it done for cosmetic reasons. Says he has no regrets, and wishes it was done as a baby.
