I am not circumcised (also because I live in a Country where the majority of men are uncut), although I like the aesthetic aspect of the penis with the glans always uncovered. As is known, to be summarized, there are four styles of circumcision. 1) High and Tight, 2) High and Loose, 3) Low and Tight e 4) Low and Loose.

Specifically, "High/Low" refers to the position of the future scar due to the removal of the foreskin: "High" farthest from the glans penis, "Low" closest to the glans penis. "Tight/Loose" instead relate to the amount of foreskin (internal) removed: "Tight" style, more foreskin removed, "Loose" style less foreskin removed.

It being understood that this is a fairly approximate explanation and that the choice of style depends on various factors (penis, tastes, circumcision age, foreskin length, etc.). However, I would like to know why, at least from what I was able to ascertain in percentage, in USA the favorite style seems to be "High and Tight".

Personally, but I repeat that everyone can have different opinions or preferences, I would not like it if I choose to be circumcised. Indeed, I would perhaps opt for a "Low" circumcision. Above all, I find it unpleasant that the scar of the circumcision is far from the glans penis and therefore quite evident when the penis is erect. Anyway, leaving out my opinion, what do you think about ?

mine is low and loose I had my circumcision at 19. living in the USA in california all of my friends were circumcised. I had it done to fit in with the crowd. the doctor cut me close to the head and left loose skin on the shaft. Not quite sure what style mine is. It's tight, but idk if it's high or low? Not sure exactly what that means. I'd imagine it's a pretty standard procedure across all major US hospitals, so I doubt there's a ton of stylistic variation. Here's me:

For those of us cut as adults I think we liked the high and tight style specifically because the scar is so prominent.

I think some of the new all-in-one circumcision devices leave a high and loose result. So maybe check those out.

Gomco is usually a pretty dark scar that runs a near perfect circular circumference around/along your shaft. Mogen is usually an inverted V-scar underneath. Plastibell is usually a semi-faint scar that has looser shaft skin mobility. Of course, results will vary greatly.
