So sad. He was a truly unique talent, and by all accounts a fabulous human being.

Dammit, he was so. Howard Stern will be devastated he had been on the show a few times and a real memorable one was when he was styling Robin real good. They had been playing his clips all last week wishing him well. Damn shame, a young man really and a hell of a talent. Hat's off. He was a one of a kind.

That's very sad, very sad indeed I was hoping he'd make a full recovery from the stroke.

A while back someone posted a link to a very sweet story about the intense friendship between he and Bruce Springsteen... to the point his wife accused him of loving Bruce more and him not denying it. If someone has that link it would be great to read the story again.

Oh yeah, my heart goes out to Bruce. He's lost one of the loves of his life.

Another part of my past slips away...
Clarence was the heart and soul of the E Street Band.
My heart is heavy with sadness; I remember hearing Jungleland the night John Lennon was murdered and it consoled me; now......
    Rest in Peace Big Man

Clemons was known to me separately, not via Springsteen. Class is the word.
