Which actor was pretty much already known by their sexuality, no matter how hard they lied about it or didn't try to hide it?

Marlene Dietrich-bisexual
Charles Laughton- gay

Lets see:

Rock Hudson
Montgomery Clift
Errol Flynn
Marjorie Main
Tab Hunter
Roddy McDowell
Marlon Brando
Richard Chamberlain
Tommy Kirk

I don't think Errol Flynn belongs on that list, but everybody else, you are right about.

Does Robert Reed (The Brady Bunch) qualify? He was actually openly gay after awhile, even though it was kept from the kid actors. Though he's known more for the role Mike Brady, he was a classicly trained actor.

Errol is bi. He admitted it himself.

Really? Wikipedia is usually pretty good about talking about evidence of actor's sexuality. I don't recall wikipedia saying anything about Errol admitting he was bi.

Marlon Brando admitted he was bi, but I don't think Errol did.

Farley Granger bi. In his autobiography "Include Me Out" he mentions the names of some of his lovers, including Leonard Bernstein. (Source: Wikipedia).
