it's election fever! the battle lines have been drawn! i do like the feeling around election time. We (The Bahamas) had an election last year and it was drama filled and emotional just like this....the drama wasn't drawn out for so long as this one was though.
it's good fun, but also tremendously important. It's always great to see people actually interested in politics and the running of their country.

The irony that is HazelGod is how he doesn't realize how much of a hypocrite he is. He talks down to or makes fun of Clinton supporters who would vote for McCain if she didn't win the nomination, yet he would have done the same exact thing if Obama didn't win. He needs her more. And he needs her as VP to win. What she wants is a seat on the Supreme Court. He could nominate her after she is VP. Taft served as both President and Chief Justice of the court. He would have no trouble getting her confirmed as Dems will likely end up with 60 senate seats. That serves all well. He uses her to get elected; he gets rid of her to the court within 1-2 years, her legacy and more importantely to her, Bill's Legacy is set. He then picks Bill RIchardson as his VP.

the terrible danger in that is that often the opinions that lead to votes are often misguided and misinformed. i've yet to see a political thread on this forum that was well thought-out and sound, most of em are "obama sucks" and "hilary supporters suck" and 99% namecalling and misinformed fact, 1%truth or legit understanding of the election.
