Kayden, It's not about being right or wrong. So far the President has done more self-aggrandizing than I've ever witnessed. He just held a press conference reminding Americans that we need to be fiscally responsible, while they spend spend spend on trips on the Tax payer, and he's acting as if the drop off in job losses is indicative of the success of the "stimulus" which it's not. There are more people, small businesses and laborers alike, who are not being counted and the 700,000 people who were removed from the job search pool. The fact of the matter is every time you turn around the President is clamoring for praise and adulation at the successes of his administration. These successes are all in their minds. The American people are still suffering, and the Obama admin is still wanting to spend more money and get more and more control over our daily lives. He still has time to turn this around and actually start leading the Country, but to do that he has to stop campaigning for his programs and work to put together legislation that would actually HELP the American people. So far all I've seen is a man who wants what he wants, he can't handle being ridiculed, and the White House is coming after the average American with their leftist rhetoric and attempting to marginalize a MAJORITY of Americans. If you don't think they are you need to pay more attention, since these people do represent different view points.
I've been active for the last 3 years in the Political process and I can tell you I've never seen the sorts of crowds showing up at these meetings that are attending now. It ranges from young and old, to left and right, with a bunch of people in the middle. Don't let the MSNBCS of the world taint your view of these folks, they're not breaking into houses or wielding billy clubs preventing the process from taking place. These are real people, and they're not rejoicing in the failures of the administration. They want an honest conversation and not just have a list of talking points read to them because the Congressmen can't stand up for themselves and fight for a program that actually makes sense.
