AT 49% APPROVAL, WITH 76% RESPONDING THAT THEY PERSONALLY LIKE HIM ( INCLUDING THOSE WHO DONT AGREE WITH HIM), CNN IS SAYING TODAY THAT THIS PUTS HIM IN A GOOD POSITION FOR REELECTION. IN ADDITION, THE PUBLIC TRUSTS HIM OVER THE GOP HOUSE BY 50% TO 31% IN MAKING GOOD DECISIONS FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE US.
FINALLY. THE MESSAGE IS GETTING THROUGH, NOW THAT FOX IS IN DISREPUTE AND THE FOGHORNS OF THE RIGHT ARE DECLINING IN POPULARITY. CNN'S WOLF BLITZER REPORTED THIS AFTERNOON THAT MIDDLE INCOME VOTERS ARE PARTICULARLY PLEASED WITH HIS "FIRE IN THE BELLY" THAT HE IS SHOWING TOWARD THE GOP.
I COULDNT AGREE MORE. IN CA, OBAMA IS A POPULAR PRESIDENT AND HIGHLY REGARDED.
REPUGNANTCANS, TIME FOR A NEW GAME PLAN TO TRASH OBAMA . THE CURRENT ONE IS NOT WORKING. WHAT A SHAME !!!

No surprise since his new strategy is just to let them hang themselves as opposed to diving in like he did with the debt ceiling. There's a lot of opportunities out there in the next few months for the tea baggers to continue to hand his re-election campaign gift after gift.

Obama’s job-approval rating is highest since summer

At the same time, the public¬ís opinion of Republicans in Congress has continued to deteriorate, potentially putting the president in a position to benefit politically from his standoff with the GOP-led House over extending the payroll tax cut.

http:/CNNPOLITICS.COM/ ALSO REPORTS THAT ROMNEY AND PAUL WOULD LOSE TO OBAMA 52 TO 45 , AND ALL THE OTHER GOP CANDIDATES WOULD TRAIL BY EVEN LARGER MARGINS. WHILE THIS IS NO GUARANTEE OF VICTORY FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA, IT SHOULD GIVE THE WHITE HOUSE A CHANCE TO FEEL LESS PRESSED.
IF PAUL RUNS AS AN INDEPENDENT( AND HE HAS ALREADY INDICATED HE MIGHT, ACCORDING TO CNN) THE NEW POLLING DATA INDICATES IT WOULD BE A DISASTER FOR THE GOP.
A SEVEN POINT MARGIN, BY THE WAY, IS MUCH MORE THAN THE MARGIN OF ERROR. AND THE FACT THAT OBAMA STARTS OUT WITH 50% OR MORE OF THE VOTE IN THIS POLL PUTS HIM IN A GOOD POSITION TO WIN REELECTION.
AGAIN, THE ELEPHANT TEARS ARE BITTERSWEET.

I trust cnn more than any other network. Unlike fox and msnbc, they are not partisan media outlets for one party or the other, enzia35.
And yes, i agree with you. The r candidates suck.

I think Obama has a really good shot of re-election. The GOP candidates have gone so far right in the primary battle that it's going to make them look like flip-floppers when they try to moderate for the general election, plus they'll enrage the far right. They're in a bad spot to appeal to anyone moderate.

If the entrance exam is run by the teabaggers how the hell can anyone else vote for you? The Republican Party embraced them and now they run the party and incredibly have considerable sway given their minority status.

Even when things looked really bad for him last year and earlier this one, I always said that the best thing he's got going for him is those Republicans and their tea-baggers.
