He's a guaranteed one-termer. I don't know a single person that is happy with Obama. The only ones I've encountered are some of the left wing loons on this site.

Quite frankly, the real issue is: can the USA SURVIVE 'his' presidency?

Having started and sold THREE businesses it is heartbreaking to see how many mom/pop type businesses are shutting their doors. AND if you are self-employed you get ZILCH in the way of unemployment pay.

BUT the good news is: if you are looking for PRIME office/restaurant space - it is EVERYWHERE!

We will truly be the "land of opportunity" if we can JUST SURVIVE as a nation.

CNN has been destroyed time and again by Job Stewart. They represent the worst in corporate media. A once-great institution of journalism reduced to online twitter polls after closing foreign bureaus and laying off actual journalists. And why? Because that's cheaper and more profitable.

Obama should NOT i repeat NOT get reelected.
France was ranked 1 in 2000 by the WHO ( world health organization ) that was BEFORE govt health care. They then switched over to a govt run health care and are no where in the top 100. That is a major reason why "obamacare" should not be in place. Plus how is obama planning to pay for this? Higher taxes? DUH! and i think obama promised not to raise taxes... hmmm contradicting isnt it? he is running a soon to be socialistic govt. He is covering up HIS mistakes by saying it was all Bush's fault... bull f-ing sheep... Bush had a mostly liberal party behind him... clinton had a mostly Rep. behind him when the economy was good. Lets see here.... BUSH OWNS obama sucks read the facts JOHN THUNE FOR 2012! good night and like I always say... dont get your nuts kicked!

    Irony:

So often lambasted by "conservatives" as a liberal bastion, CNN follows the free-market paradigm espoused by "conservative" doctrine to CNN's eventual journalistic (and economic) irrelevance.

I'd say that was the idea all along, but that would be giving way too much credit to "conservative" strategists.

Public opinion poll. Projecting election results nearly 3 years away. No opponent identified.

    Public opinion poll.

So, let's put the question out there.
If Obama doesn't deserve re-election, then who takes his place and WHY?
If you cannot answer both parts... then shut your trap.

It's still quite early in the president's term, he still has practically three years left and will likely make strides in many areas. He was elected at a time when the economy was doing poorly, those economic downtuns can't be remedied over a few months, these things take time. We should step back and see what happens after the midterm elections in November, followed by how the changed Congress and Senate work with each other and the president and the president with them.

    1. I'm an Independent, totally disgusted with Obama for capitulation to the Right, big business, Congressional Republicans, to the point of saying I disapprove of his performance to a Zogby poll.
    2. I have never voted for a Republican in 38 years of voting and never will. But until Bush II I wasn't convinced that Republicans are a dangerous and maniacal threat to our democracy-- which their performance in the opposition has only confirmed.
    3. Point: don't count your Republican chickens on account of this poll, as many who think Obama is a fuckup would never vote R in a million years.

A good number of people no doubt agree with you. If things continue to go sour for Obama, people will vote R...it happened in Mass.

But you do bring up good points. Bayh...actually ran with it:

CNN has is a shell of it´s former self. It continually lowers the bar in hopes of attracting the benighted Fox viewers. They should know no organization can sink beneath Fox News Faux News Fixed News. And yes John Stewart and his staff do an incredible job of showing exactly what a sham they´ve become.

Those in the know watch Maddow.
Although lately, she's starting to become as blusterous as Olbermann on certain issues. Love 'em both, but we don't always need the theatrics.
