Can someone educate me on how to where a cock ring? I have seen it on the shaft only and also behind scrotum as well. Whats the difference?

First push your balls through the ring. Then squeeze your cock through it too. Thus it will be at the base of your cock and balls.

Obviously you can only put it on when flaccid, and if it hurts as opposed to feeling like a firm grip when you get hard, take it off and get a bigger one.
