I have exactly the same problem with the cockrings I use - they tend to pinch.

I have tried wearing a relatively loose cockring to bed, but I woke up in the middle of the night with a slight ache in my groin. I was not hard. I removed the cockring and went right back to sleep. No, no unpleasant effects, lasting or otherwise.

I have several types. The metal one I have are the nicest but they are not Hypo allergenic and I get some skin rash after a few hours. I have two of them one being 3.75 Inches and the Other 4 Inches.
