I'm curious to know how many pumpers have experimented with collagen and pumping or stretching and if so did you notice a difference? Collagen is the protein that lends to skin elasticity so it naturally seems like a supplement that would assist in stretching the skin. I know there are supplements and creams and they are often promoted to women to slow aging (reducing wrinkles).

As I understand it, the body makes collagen under the skin - and I seriously doubt that it can penetrate the skin to do any good. There are so many completely outrageous claims made in the cosmetic "industry" that there should be a law. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof ... period. Vaseline (petroleum jelly) is the basis of all sorts of "moisturizers" sold at exorbitant prices and the only differences are in the color and perfume. Personally, I use Albolene as both a lube and skin conditioner - it works great in both roles!

Although I'm no expert, I do know that our human skin is more a sponge than a shield (as we've been led to believe). Sure, it's designed to protect from viruses and germs of all sorts, but all types of things can, and do, penetrate the skin and organs like the eyes.

Still, not an expert, but I would guess that working from the inside out with supplements would fetch results superior to creams and lotions. There are collagen supplements as well as the "oily" vitamins... A, D, E, etc.
