I really feel badly for the two of them. Because likely, this news has pervaded their university and will surely cause unneccessary embarassment for the both of them. Not only that, because this so called scandal has surfaced the two are likely to face professional changes long after their wrestling careers are over.

This seems like a non issue and the news media is being extremely irresponsible by posting their photos. Most likely, some kid turned in pictures to the news or to the school. Because of something a person did, they now have to deal with all of this, and its THEIR choice! What a fucking world.

Dude the fact that I know the words to your fight song, should show you I have the greatest respect for the UNL program at all levels. The greatest fans on earth in Lincoln and are always wonderful guests at out place. I think it is fucking fantastic that these two studs are out representing their school and the Big 12. Should they wish to go on tour, I'll be glad to provide accomidations for them and their.....accutrimonse......in all Big 12 South Schools. And several in the North.

I thought it was something about not being able to take secondary work since the university is supporting them financially while they wrestle. On the one hand, I can sympathize with needing an extra job. I actually got a good deal when I was doing my master's degree, but I had to take a second part-time job to help clear all the bills every month. On the other hand, this wasn't just waiting tables either. It was porn, and it got linked back to the two wrestlers at the school; the wall of secrecy went down. And since we're talking Nebraska and not Cali or New York or something, I imagine alums already not so thrilled with homosexuality anyway might start withdrawing their school support. Sick, sad, but true.

I don't see what the big deal is. They did some solo stuff on an adult website, they haven't done anything illegal so I can't see why it's an issue. I think it's a shame that they may face expulsion (as I read on a site earlier) but hopefully it will all blow over soon.

well I am not, nor ever was, a wrestler, but I had friends who wrestled in High School. I can tell you (that in High School anyway) that they don't wear protective cups. Some guys would wear compression shorts under their singlet, some jockstraps, some nothing. It seemed to depend on how modest and or "sensitive" their good were. A friend told me that he would wear a jockstrap just to "keep it a little under control" so as to be less likely to get a chubbie or semi from all the contact and rubbing, etc....... of course he wasn't gay and all the contact didn't arouse him, lol.

According to my research, NCAA athletes are not allowed to use pictures of themselves for commercial purposes.

It also wouldn't surprise me if the NCAA and/or the University of Nebraska had rules requiring their athletes to be of good moral character. Although they may not be specifically prohibited from posing for pornographic photos, NCAA and/or university officials may interpret doing so as a violation of the morals clause, if there is one.
