Does anyone else wear these ?
I find them easier to use being very mypoic ; if you drop them you can actually find them !
The colours are more natural looking now .... In the 80s they looked like cat's eyes.
They are also cheaper at around £5.00 (or less) a pair .
    Confess !

I don't wear them... I've thought about it, but for some reason, I just don't think it would be a good idea... I don't want people loving my green eyes just to find out they're fake. :)

In high school I tried some colored contacts that were green. My goal was to enhance my own eye color.

Interestingly enough, though, I didn't look nearly as good with them as without! My makeup didn't look right, my skin tone didn't look right, and clothing colors that had suited me previously no longer did.

That experience convinced me that colored contacts are not for me.

The lenses I wear now are "visibility tinted," which most modern lenses are. They carry just the tiniest hint of blue... just enough that you can see them floating in the lens solution and don't have to feel around for them.

I suppose, if your skin tone (and wardrobe  ) can coordinate with various eye colors, they might be fun, though.

I do not wear coloured contact lenses, though i've been accused of it. My eyes are naturally a bright (though dark) saphire blue. I guess they're rather striking (not my thoughts on the matter) and many strangers have stopped me to ask me what brand of contacts i wear. Well, i DO wear contacts sometimes, but they aren't coloured!

Well I dont like any contacts they irritate my eyes just thinking about them in it. I prefer using glasses to drive and go to movies and that is it... :biggrin1:

I have always wanted to have a set of contacts that were a really deep blue or a really light blue. Either or would make me happy.

Jeff B. is seriously the only person I've ever encountered who has a bona fide blue eyes fetish.

Interesting. I saw a waitress in a Shoney's a few years back that had some of those colored contacts. They had to have been contacts...nobody could
have bright geen eyes like that. They were greener than those of my neighbors old tom cat. They were beautiful though and I couldn't help but stare at them. It's a wonder she hadn't clobbered me for staring so much.

I am fascinated by green eyes. They must be quite rare. I have seen very few in real life. I am sucker for eyes anyway. I can look at close up head shots of models and actual cry looking at those beautiful eyes.

Never use them anymore. Back in the 90's I used multicolored, diffrent shapes etc while I were performing on stage.

So no, I like my natural eye color.

They are attractive, maybe it is the people attached to the eyes. A few people I know, have THE MOST INCREDIBLE BLUE eyes ever. I honestly melt when I see them, and I tend to get a bit tongue tied.

    I can't help it.

Don't need 'em. People like my blue eyes. A buddy of mine wears them, and gets poked fun at for doing so.

According to this article, they are quite rare. However, they seem to be a dominant trait in my family's eyes...

    Mother: Blue
    Father: Green
    Full Brother: Green
    Stepmother: Blue
    Half-Sister: Green
    Half-Brother: Green

Apparently my father's green eyes trump other colors genetically..

Ive been wearing glasses since i was about 5 years old. I got contacts when i was in my sisters wedding party but due to my prescription beging so strong im very limited in choice. What i got was only disposable but the hassle they gave me for a few weeks i couldnt ever do that for a life time

I've got brown eyes, but I've tried the colored contacts. The only ones that looked halfway normal were the green ones. They turned my eyes a pretty hazel-green, and while it looked good with my coloring, I have always just stayed with my clear contacts. I think that if I wore colors one day and then was brown eyed when I took them out and put on my glasses, it would be obvious that I was wearing fake lenses. So I have just opted to stay au naturel.

Yet another reason why Jeff B. is so dreamy... :biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1:

My eyes are light clear blue with a dark ring around the outside; I've been called both a witch and the offspring of a siberian husky because of them.

Very interesting indeed. It also says that gray eyes like mine are very rare.

A friend of mine and her father have the most striking light green eyes. They are the only people I've ever known to have eyes that color. I agree, that color is exceedingly rare in my experience.
My son has gray-green eyes at the moment-- they change colors with his surroundings and if you look very closely he has spots of brown (like my husband) blue-gray (like me) and green. But that's not really related to anything.

    Anyway...
