What's wrong with two guys showing some affection--women do it all the time, but men are never supposed to do it. That's what's wrong with out Victorian based culture--we're too uptight about showing that we do care about other people.
We're not supposed to repress emotion.

Showing camraderie and expressing emotion are two different things. Look at the faces in those pictures, though...they are stone cold. They might as well be some of the people I have dealt with at the funeral home. There is no warmth or obvious expression of friendship shown. Those pictures, eventhough arms are often draped around each other, might as well be two strangers. That's lack of emotion, too.
