Visited London recently....oasis sports centre is a must visit ...wow great open showers...don't waste your time else where...

True, but sadly they're in the process of renovation and will be converting the showers to cubicles soon - so hurry up and visit if you want to see some sights...

To name a few off the top of my head

Marshall St Leisure Centre (Soho)
Kentish Town Leisure Centre
Archway Leisure Centre
Sobell Leisure Centre (Holloway)
Fitspace Islington
Urban Kings (Kings Cross)
Bloomsbury Fitness
Livingwell at Hilton Metropole (Paddington)

Is this list up to date? I've been to Fitspace but are the others still communal?

Which gym would you say had the best showers? in terms of size and layout

Tough call, mate. All have pros and cons. I went to Hammersmith fitness centre yesterday and that had a good layout of three open showers and three cubicles with good water pressure. Also has a men-only sauna.

I love Urban Kings because it's really clean, and also has a great men-only sauna.

The Central YMCA has cubicle showers but the overall layout of the changing room is very large and open with a good, friendly vibe.

All personal taste, I guess!

Does the central YMCA have mens only sauna?

which gyms have both communal showers and saunas that you would recomend?

Hammersmith Squash and Fitness Centre
Urban Kings (Kings Cross)
The Factory (Holloway)

Off the top of my head I can't think of any more.

Jubilee Hall in Covent Garden has sauna but showers are all cubicles.

There are still quite a few open showers in London but in the last year or so I've noticed a decline in big cock sightings! I use a variety of swimming pools across the city but haven't come across well hung showering guys for ages. Loads of good bodies around but without the big cock :(

If the goal is just to see some cock and not really bothered about the work-out, then check out the Men's bathing pond at Hampstead Heath.

Big open changing area, showers and a section for nude sun-bathing, so you get to see a lot of cock ! Mixed group of people, a lot of hot guys and even hotter cocks flopping about all day !

I agree, go for the workout but great feel at the end to have a open shower and bond with mates or others, definately a freerer more relaxing atmosphere and better to distress than being confined to a cubicle, which are also more unhygienic

There were 4 of us in here at once yesterday. My mates' Dad came in, which could have been very awkward but it's really not if you are comfortable with yourself. He went and used the shower next to me, don't think he noticed it was me at first... But he started chatting and it was as if we were anywhere else. That's what is so great about communal showers. You can just be completely comfortable and relaxed baring absolutely everything with nothing to hide.
