I've noticed that a lot of new gyms are making private shower stalls... It's quite disappointing. Who goes to a gym where the showers are still open and guys shower/ walk around nude??

My favorite pet about working out is the nude steam/sauna/shower with other guys at the end.

I used to go to a health club that had 3 single shower stalls and a large open shower area. It was very rare that someone would use the individual showers. Then again this health club had a sauna and Jacuzz that guys would use in the nude made it a very open experience. Never saw any sex, but I heard of stories of it.

I don't want to name the health club, but it is in San Jose and located downtown off 3rd street (I'm sure you can do a web search to figure it out). I have a friend who works there that has told me stories and my "membership" wasn't something I paid for so I don't want to say anything to get anyone in trouble lol

Health clubs are one thing but several years ago, truckstops didn't have separate shower rooms. At the time they were similar to high school shower rooms, 'gang showers'. Damn the dick you could see there.

YMCA. They remodelled the locker room last year and still kept the open shower. :smile: Everyone uses the steam room and hot tub naked as well.

Yep. The Y's tend to keep the open stalls - I guess it is cheaper to build and maintain. There is a new health club near me and it has individual stalls - although most of the people who use it don't shower or premises. Truck stops used to be great cruise spots way back in the day in rural areas. I have not been to a newer one, and it has been at least 15 years since I was in one at all. Newer high and middle schools seem to be building partially enclosed shower areas. A neighbor of mine does janitorial work for the school system and he mentioned that cleaning the newer semi-enclosed stalls is harder and treating for mold and resistant bacteria is a challenge in some places.

Erie Community college (Burt Flickenger Athletic Center) has a few shower heads in an open shower facing a mirror,

University at Buffalo (Alumni Arena) has 2 shower areas in a giant locker room. The main one has around 12 Bradley Shower poles with 6 heads on each, the second is smaller and has 2 shower poles.

Town of Tonawanda Aquatic and Fitness center has a open shower room with 10 shower heads on the walls.

Same over here.
In my gym they have installed 1 individual shower for invalid men - well you don't want to know how many youngsters are waiting in a row to use it.

But in the cafe-taria they have all porn dicks. Except we never see them. Just like here on LPSG claiming without pics.

This school was built in the 1960's (a guess).
