Was just curious how many medical disorders/conditions out there carry abnormally large penises or penis growth as a symptom or result of them... I've heard of things ranging from macrogenitosomia to macrophallus and other disorders, like diencephalic disorder that can have a large penis result from the condition. Anyone out there with more knowledge or expertise feel free to chime in.

I feel that it's very important to point out the difference between a average penis and a normal penis. A penis can be quite large indeed and still be perfectly normal. Average doesn't mean normal as that would make it normal for women to have 1.6 children, which it definitely is not. It is normal for men to have penises of different sizes, some are small, most are about average and some are large.
I've only heard of sickle cell anemia causing priapism which resulted in permanent growth.

I will try to give a simple explanation. My english is shitty but i hope you understand.
Many things come together to grow a "Monster".
First step: A HOX gene regulates the possible penis size before youre born. That one HOX gene is the reason why f.e chemical penis enlargement has its limits. You can use testo / igf-1 and all that sort of stuff but its in your genetics that you cant grow more no matter how much testo you have.
Usually that gene works fine and it takes care that you grow a normal sized penis.
If that gene is damaged its the first step to grow a monster.
Second step: 5-alpha-reductase / 5α-reduction
Usually you would have normal enzyme levels so even if you have that birth defect you will grow a cock within the usual range. At the higher end of the range.
But the "magic" happens when the damaged gene AND high enzyme levels (gene lesion) come together.
Usually only 5% of testosterone undergoes 5α-reduction to form DHT. And DHT is what makes the penis grow.
If you have too much of it the penis will grow and grow and grow because theres no set limit.
After puperty the receptors are closed but due to the high enzyme levels you will get male-pattern hair loss (MPHL) (sooner or later) and a way higher chance of prostate cancer and heart diseases. Some studies (old ones) showed that the lower your enzyme levels are the longer you live. Both extremes (micropenis) and monsters have significant impact on your lifespan.
