Here is a chart I found on penis sizes small medium and large put out by a condom manufacturer. I was only given the chart not the company sorry. Maybe somenone will recognize the chart and tell us which manufacturer developed this chart.

"Listed below is a Table of Erect Penis Sizes by Age.

Age..........Small.........Average........Large....
7.............1.5...........2.5............2.8....
8.............1.5...........2.5............3.0....
9.............1.7...........2.7............3.2....
10............2.0...........3.0............3.5....
11............2.0...........3.3............4.5....
12............2.5...........4.1............5.5....
13............3.5...........5.3............7.0....
14............4.0...........5.7............7.0....
15............4.0...........6.0............7.0....
16............4.0...........6.0............7.5....
17............4.0...........6.1............7.5....
18-20.........4.0...........6.1............9.0....
Adult Men.....4.0...........6.2...........11.0....

"The condom company listed in this thread does stress the measurement of a penis prior to ordering their condoms. The have a "Fit Kit" that is downloadable and can be printed out and then cut out with a pair of scissors to determine the correct penis size with instructions on how to measure an erect penis correctly in order to get a precise fit. However, a boy needs to have an erect penis of at least three inches with a girth (roundness/thickness) of three inches as well for their smallest condom to fit him. As we all know it is the thickness that keeps a condom from falling of, so if his girth is at least 3 inches around, the length can be adjusted by just unrolling the correct amount."

The above is a quote. It has not been verified by me. I thought the sizes by age and the sizes given were interesting in terms of small, average and large. This is especially true since there is always a thread on am I large or small at this age or that.

Why would a condom company publish information about 7, 8 year olds, etc? Seems weird.

Freddie, while I know your heart is in the right place, these things produced by condom companies are seldom if ever reliable. I don't know exactly what their purpose is in saying that large is 11", but in truth, 11" cocks are so rare as to be of very little use in marketing! My suspicion is that these companies also own penis enlargement products that they market to the men they've made feel inferior. I'll go back to good ol' Kinsey and reassert that average is really about 5.5" and anything over 7" is large. Time to stop battering men's egos about something that isn't really true.

Zora is right. And, as far as I know, the only coondom that puts out a "Fit Kit" is the They-Fit condoms sold through condomania.com. I can say from experience that their longest length--"G"--is not even designed to fully cover an 11" length. Though it does come the closest by far of any condom on the market. The They-Fit condoms are advertised as covering up to a 10" length, but the G actually measures closer to 9.5".

And I agree that the focus on fitting young kids with condoms is suspect and, if true, very disturbing.

Yeah, I sat up with a friend one night going through the TheyFit webpage to see if we could find a condom to fit his unique size. We didn't, but you are right that the 10" size is about as good as it gets. It's probably good enough, since it's doubtful that you'd be able to insert more than 10" and even if you did, pregnancy and the majority of stds would still be prevented by keeping the fluids separated, unless you had cuts on the last inch or so of your dick.

The above is a quote. It has not been verified by me. I thought the sizes by age and the sizes given were interesting in terms of small, average and large. This is especially true since there is always a thread on am I large or small at this age or that.

I just copied the most of the chart. The large category is always going to be suspect in any chart.

I was putting this on the web for size not really condom usage. There are adult men who have less than a three inch erect penis so I guess there are condom compnaies out there that make extra small condoms.

Jana and others I hear your concern. But there has been thread after thread about sizes of penises and what size is small or large for each age.

I thought that the small and average sizes were probably fairly accurate. Average is only 6.2 on this chart which if you take out the small guys. That would be average.

The last report I read which I failed to save said that world wide the average penis length is 5.1 inches which is .4 smaller than the Kensy report. That report tried to get a better random selection of men and the men were measured by nurses and doctors. The Kinsey report let the men measure themselves. A variance of only .4 inches is not unusual in two different surveys.

The vast majority of men fall between five and seven inches. I thnk it is about eighty percent or so. I don't remember now and didnt' save that information either.

One last comment about condoms. I don't care what age a boy or man is. If he is having recreational sex with anyone who has had another sexual partner, he needs to use a condom until he knows for sure the partner has no sexual disease. And elemenary boys are having sex some as early as age eight. Usually it is with another eight year old. And it might not really be the real thing. But they think it is and there is penile insertion which is enough to get a disease. Some elementary kids are born with HIV and that informatoin can be kept totally private. So yes your child can get HIV from having sex with another sweet innocent child who got the disease though no fault of their own.

Prepuberty kids having sex troubles me greatly. But I can't change the facts. And we adults have our heads in the sand about what some of our children are doing sexually and at what ages.

Thanks for the replies and I am sure some rebuttals to come. Hey that is what this site is for. Please keep it in the tone we have so far here. Everyone is being polite and not attacking each other.

Yes some questioned the condom companies motives, but not me or someone on the board. And that large category is in my opininion suspect for 18 and up. The chart has 7.5 as large for 17 year olds. We know that the vast majprity of men achieve full penis size sometime before their 17th birthday. The condom company should have left it alone there at 7.5 inches for large for above 18 year olds as well. The chart would have had more validity then. My opinoni is that that those last two numbers were there to feed egos.

The condom company should have just said that there are some extra large guys and this is the condom they should buy for penises above 7.5 inches in length.

Girth of the condom is more important anyway. It might be the perfect length, but if it is too big girth wise and falls off, it is worthless.

I will say that knowing what I know now I would have deleted age seven from the chart. I know from Jonb's posts that he was mature at age nine. So I would leave age eight on the chart. The original chart went down to age two I think. I didn't think ages two thorugh six were necesaary and deleted them. I don't know how many boys enter puberty at age 7. There are a few, very few. Some guys do enter puberty as early as four or five because of a disease that casues them to age rapidly and die as old men in thier twenties which is tragic. I knew of of such boy. He was a teen ager at age six, shaving and all. He was middle age by 12. He went through all the signs of old age in his late teens and died of old age about age 20. It was tragic.

Just when we think we know it all,.....we don't.

Again thanks for the replies.

Nice to see a voice of reality on this board. However, I thought Kinsey's survey indicated the average was closer to 6." I wonder if you're confusing the data from Kinsey with another more recent set of statistics.

By the way, I looked at the photo section today and saw a video of a LPSG member measuring his --- what looked to me like a mostly soft --- penis with a tape measure. I think that's the first time I've ever seen someone who, probably in many circumstances boasts about his size, reaching not only what seems to be around the magic number of 9" (or around the mark that many self-described hung guys seem to claim about themselves), but being that size when not even fully erect!

I am mighty skeptical that it is humanly possible for any average eight year old to enter puberty, get an erection, or insert his penis into another eight year olds vagina or anus.
I also take exception to your allegation that (if it were possible for an eight year old to insert his penis) it would be enough to transmit HIV.
There has to be a transmission of bodily fluids that contain the HIV.
I am curious from whence your information came.

In in service worshops for teachers. I didn't copy the documentation but this is the guest of it.

No the average eight year old can't cum with semen. They can achieve an erection and they do "play house with girls their age from time to time. So yes they can insert their penis into a vagina. They just can't do anything except move up and down. Now if there is a cut place on the penis and there is HIV or any other viruses of any type floating around in the vagina of the girl, then it is possible some "experts" would say.

There is even speculation on whether HIV can be transmirtted by kissing. The saliva having the virus. The reports I read indicated that the person not having the virus would have to have a sore place, an infected tooth, a cut in the mouth, etc for HIV to be transmitted that way, BUT that is was possible, though probably unlikely.

There have been comments on this from professional people who don't agree. So I am sure that there are those "experts" who would say it is possible and "experts" who say it is not possible. I am retired now and don't have the information I was presented and the "experts" may have changed their minds.

The purpose of the information to be presented to elementary teachers was to make teachers aware that even in third grade there might be sexualy active kids. Yeah, I hated that when I was told that. It is horrible.

Again the purpose of presenting this chart was about dick size primarily NOT CONDOMS, or SEXUAL ACTIVITIES of children.

As for puberty, Jonb said he started puberty at age nine. Is there anyone out there that started puberty at age eight? Please be honest here. Does anyone have documentation from doctors when the earliest time for puberty to start of boys. I know of girls starting their periods as early as age seven. They were in our elemtnary school and the second grade teachers had to deal with it.

Of course 11 inches is large and condom companies make condoms for that size even though that size if vary rare. Let's get away from that one statistic that was put there for sales purposes look at the rest. Do the small and average sizes seem right? There never will be a consesus on what is large. We already know that. And again the purpose of this thread was about penis sizes and not what condoms are on the market.

Other than the large category do the small and average categories seem about right for the ages given?

this list looks rather fake. not only that the catagories seem at least a bit skewed, but also the age catagories make no real sense.
according to a study which i really trust in, an 18 year old man has a fully developed penis. the study im refer to is from profamilia together with the university clinic of essen. it was one of their goals to find out if at 18 the penis is fully devolped or not.

I don't know. A lot of guys here say that that had penis growth as late as 21. Guys like Pecker who I trust. I have read other surveys that suggest that some penis growth in some guys does happen as late as 24, though that would be quite rare.

I just saw another thread where this issue of size at age 14 and others keeps coming up. It would be good to have a chart to refer these teens to that ask those questions that is reliable.

So if you know a list of sizes that you think are more accurate then this list please post.

There is speculation on all sorts of things, but HIV is not transmitted by kissing. If it were, the patterns of infection would be drastically different than they are. In other words, thousands (millions?) of people who are not infected would have been.
