I have read many articles and there seems to be an idea that magnums are a marketing scheme to make more money. I am really curious as to what you guys think, especially when it comes so girth size at the base, middle or head and what fits, what wont fit, and whats compfortable. Sorry if this question has been asked before.

there is definitely a difference betwen magnum and regular condoms.
i prefer magnum XL thin.
i usually spit into it or inject some lube in the tip, not to over do it.
this allows for increased sensation and quicker ejaculation, as well.

Can you explain what dollar bill length and girth is? Im assuming like 6.5. And i read regular magnums were needed when u hit 6 girth. Now whether that means at the base or middle i dont know. But im 6 at the base and larger condoms like durex love make a big difference.

regular magnums are tight as hell at the base, but the top is decent to me.

I've never seen one of those magnum XLs - they must look huge. Is there any pics of them anywhere?

This has less to do with penis size (unless extreme) as much as tolerance levels for tightness. Condoms are designed to be a tight fit, but some find it uncomfortable. Also, sizes are different for different regions.

funny you posted the question. this was a topic at a recent party where one of my female friends complained about the condom comming off on the guy she was currently dating. She asked the men in the room do you know what size you are and that getting a condom that fits is important for both partners?
the result was Magnums are not a marketing ploy they fill a need for the right sized guy and as you see from other responses one size does not fit all. So guys go out and try different sizes and brands and find what fits. You and your partner will have more fun.

i think the "marketing ploy" argument was something created by guys who can't fill up a magnum condom to make themselves feel better. you're not supposed to stretch a condom out to put one on. if i'm with a man and he's got to stretch it out to put it on he's not getting my good good. that's dangerous, i don't want the condom to break.

If you are really big, you may want to try a female condom, an FC2. The reason is that to the guy it feels like he is bareback. To the female there is absolutely no rubbing that can make sore spots in her vagina, sometimes a problem with large cocks and/or long sex sessions. Yes, it is more expensive, but you can leave it in all evening and have sloppy seconds in it.

It is a large condom made of nytril (tough and good for people with latex allergy). It is placed in the vagina so that the ring at the bottom of the condom is deep inside her and the ring at the top of the condom is outside her pussy. We add some lube inside the condom so that it will always be slick to the guy. We like to put it in before the sex play starts. That way there is no interruption and the inside of the condom feels hot and wet when the guy's cock goes in.

My GF likes to hold the outer ring with her fingers as the guy puts his cock in just to make sure his cock goes inside the condom, and the outer ring stays outside her pussy.

The only thing to be cautioned about is that the guy should not pull his cock out and rub it on her clit. That will result in his cock head catching the outer ring of the condom and pulling the condom out of her pussy. That can be fixed several ways, either the gal can put the condom back in, or the guy can pull the condom onto his cock and put both in her pussy at the same time.

Suggest you try some. And when you do, give some feedback here so others can see how it works for you.

When a condom breaks it's usually that it is too big for the penis.
Not that the condom is too small.
It's the friction - rubber on rubber that makes them break.
A condom should be a very tight fit, without any wrinkle.

Also look at the expiration date - as old condoms will loose their elasticity. And do not use condoms if the package is damaged.

Condoms are tested for the double capacity in girth.
When a condom breaks - it's for 99% an users error. And the most common is that the condom is too big in girth for the penis.

MySize Condoms Size '69' or Magnum XL. You need to wear the size that fits. As a learning and an inexperienced late teen I was trying to squeeze my cock into standard condoms, usually from those condom dispensers.
After plenty grief of trying to get them on they often split or would tear as I tried to stretch them up my cock.

MySize Condoms have 7 sizes for all sorts of cocks.

No doubt about the stigma set about what size condom you carry, whether that is to 'show off' or not, but if you need the bigger size you need to carry them!

Well a standard Durex condom has a dia of 52mm in my country.
They are tested on an 8" girth without any tearing during 30minutes at approx 90rpm.
If you've a girth less than 4.25" anywhere on the shaft, you should wear something smaller.

If you can tear a standard condom with your dick by putting them on - you do something wrong. f.e. your nails. You can set an high force on many condoms before they will tear.

But there is also comfort. And also the design of the condom. Some have an enornmous base girth, while others have the biggest girth midshaft.

Normally +2/3th of the men will fit into a standard condom. (girth ranges from 4.25" upto 5.75")

A lot of condoms sold as being large are in fact large in length but not in girth. I find Magnum XL and MySize 64s are best for me.

Until I discovered XLs, I had problems putting standard condoms on and even had a few split during vigorous activity. Don't risk wearing ones that are too tight!

This guy is dead on, any sort of friction will destroy a condom in no time. Unfortunately the guy wearing the condom can't feel if his partner has dried up, so receivers need to be vocal about needing more lube.
