Condoms: A Necessary Evil

Its interesting to see women complaining about condoms. I've never had a woman express a difference between my wearing/not wearing a condom.

Good for you, is there a great difference in feeling? Not during fornication but you need lube because my natural lubricant doesn't work with condoms like it does with skin.

The big/HUGE turnoff for me is mental. First of all we have to stop, open a package put it on, etc. It ruins the moment and then I start thinking why are you wearing a condom? What disease do YOU have and then the whole idea of having sex because displeasing.

If I am going to share my body with you - you better not have anything, if I can't trust you in that department than I can't trust having sex with you.

For me at least, I find the difference to be significant between using a condom and not. Some condoms feel better than others, but none come close to au natural, regardless of which lubes I have used. I like the Sliquid, which is silicone based when I know I am going to use a condom.

I agree, that it really kills the moment, having to stop and put a condom on, but its the cost of doing business these days.

Yikes! Sorry they turned out to be such a mixed deal for you! But thank you, as usual, for your excellent information.

Put up with it... if you don't like them, abstain for a month and both go and get a full STI check, then repeat the test for the next 3 months, failing that use a latex glove and your hand!

This makes it seem like someone peed in your cornflakes this morning! We don't like condoms, ,but that doesn't mean we're not using them. I think we're all here just trying to pool our experiences to find better solutions.

I don't find they spoil the moment (I find it a turn on when the guy has them, even if we don't use them, and enjoy the somewhat medical feel), but they DO make sex worse...

I hate all those condom ads implying it's all up to the woman to be all, "condom or no sex </bitchy scowl>"

But yeah, never had an STI, never want one, so I've gone with them for vaginal and anal with guys I'm not sure about (not oral, flavoured condoms ruin the cock texture).

I find pleasuremax and ribbed ones definitely DO raise my volume, even if I don't exactly FEEL the difference consciously... Guess my G-spot does!

Otherwise I'd go with whatever's cheap/free. Always need a backup afterall (and a few extras for another round are handy too).

I find it can be a HUGE difference during fornication! I've had great build up become dismal sex because it just felt... weird! (Not very eloquent but it's hard to explain the feeling of non-feeling.) And then later in the relationship had mind blowing sex with the same person and the difference was the condom.

Lambskin does feel good.
Just wish to remind everyone they are for pregnancy prevention only
NOT disease prevention.
Although sperm cannot escape viruses can get through lambskin.

I know its not responsible now a days but I too hate condoms and wear them more to protect me from k.I.ds. than a.I.d.s. I will wear a trojan magnum (or thicker end/ smaller base condom if I can find em) for vaginal and tear it off for anal, or just skip it if its girl I trust and is on the pill. And to top it off if the sex is any good....... The thing is gonna break, and even more so cause you have to thrust harder and quicker and longer due to the loss of sensation. And as I understand it most larger guys have difficulty cumming by vaginal sex or at least I do. But honestly a normal guy or one my size or even the guy Q can use a regular condom even on his 13 inch tree trunk, but its about how many strokes till it is just a rubber rag. No easy answer just compromises in how much you'll put up with to take the panty hamster for a spin on it's wheel
