I've used condoms with my partner for close to 8 years now, and we've been married for 5 of those years...the pill screwed with her hormones and made her miserable. Once I started using a condom appropriate for my girth, we have never had any breaks/tears, and I can ejaculate inside her. For us, they have been 100% effective.

I would like to add something as an extra margin of safety, such as spermicidal lube or something. Can you guys recommend something for me that I can pick up at a store?

A lot of women use gynol 2 as a stand alone contraceptive jelly or with condoms/cervical caps/diaphragms.
