Protection and birth control. Anyone that you meet and asks you not to use one without you both being checked first might already have something if they have done that before and sencond doesn't care about either of your wellbeings.

Why do you use condoms, For protection, brithcontrol, keep from making a mess or just like the feel of them?
All of the above, though they are too tight when erect. There are also vibrating and textured condoms around... not sure what they're about. :D

Hmm, if I was to design a custom condom, it'd be very thick material, and still able to hold when flaccid. But i'd probably design something better than a condom. *rubs head*

condoms suck. i always hold out for monogamy.

1. Constant, guilt-free sex whenever you want it.
2. No worrying about disease.
3. While we don't want kids yet, if we do get pregnant, it's a happy occasion.

Note, #1 depends on a willing woman, but I honestly have never met a woman who said she didn't like sex.

a) STI protection
b) reassurance incase the birth control wasn't as effective as it should be.
c) cleaning other male's cum isn't sexy...

The first time I read the typo above I registered it as "SDI Protection"... which would have been much more interesting as I was not aware that condoms could protect you from nuclear missles.

Sorry to break the news to you Roger--the condom greatly reduces the risk of std it does not completely eliminate it. All you need is a drip or a drop of fluid oozing over from your partner into the edges of your wraPper and then bing bboing bang your infected and depending on what it is that you pick up, you are also DEAD:eek: . Aside from the usual fluids of sex, remember that a little not so friendly blood to blood (even in very tiny cuts of skin) can infect you with the not so friendly HIV. In other wordsm condoms reduce the worry and reduce the risk--they do not end it.

That is dramatically overstating the truth, to say the least. Condoms used properly have proven to be very effective against the transmssion of many STDs, especially HIV. Diseases that transmit skin-to-skin like herpes maybe less so, but blood-borne pathogens like HIV need very favorable conditions which condoms negate. If condoms were as unreliable as you say, A LOT more people who use them would have become infected. But they haven't.

Of course condoms do break on rare occasions, espcially when not put on properly. But that's another story.

And my point was--and is--that the condom is not a worry free matter. What I am fucking trying to get across here is that the moronic imbecile who races about randomly porking every man woman and lightbulb socket that they can is running risks for themself and others.

For the record I know 3 persons who ended up at the wrong end of HIV even though a condom was always involved. My point in this Matthew is that even if you use a condom it is still wise to be checked regular for any and all STDs, As usual people refuse to see the facts, all I was trying to do was educate the likes of Roger and otheres who think slapping a condom on gives them a disease frre ride. Sorry that the truth offends so much although I am never ever surprised on this board when people refuse to be offered some information, perhaps using the word DEAD was over dramatic, but when it comes to life and death it is often necessary to go to such extremes.

The facts are that condoms, when used properly, have been proven to be very effective prevention against the transmission of HIV and other STDs. The problem with just letting rants like yours go unchallenged is that whoever is reading this might think "Fuck it, why even bother using one if they're so unreliable?" And since we are talking about life and death, as you noted, THAT kind of attitude would be dangerous. But sure - everyone who is sexually active should continue to go and get tested. That applies to people fucking with condoms, AS WELL AS people who have only partner even when they strongly believe their partner is monogamous. And I'm sorry - I know you will go ballistic about this, but I have to say it - I can not believe that you know 3 people who ALWAYS used condoms and still got HIV. If that is really what they told you, either the condoms broke or they lied. It's a lot easier to say "I always used protection but still got infected!" than to say "Well, I fucked up a few times."

Birth Control way back when

Then: Disease Control.

Now, to prolong the action. I use "They Fit" exclusively and the fit and feel is great so I enjoy them and so does my spouse.

What use is life if you don't use it?

And I got some nice condoms once...

You could roll them over a machete blade and pull them off without cuts... also, and chopping a gash into them and they still wouldn't split under excessive strain... and they were like soooooo stretchy! Good stuff, only a little too thin. ^.^

That's because the condom goes over the *Missile*, not the pentagon. When will our government learn...
