I'd never even heard of condoms with pouches before this thread!
Petite, I'd be interested in hearing how you go with the female condom.
TheBF went out to one local toy store and they didn't have any of the ones I listed! I found out that another store has the female condom, but none of the other ones. It's outrageously expensive. Whew! I'll have to send TheBF out to get it. It looks like our best option.
If I weren't considering getting an IUD as soon as my doctor says I can,
then I would mail order from Condomerie. They have equivalent sizes to the They Fit brand, and an equivalent brand called Coripa, and a sort of decoder key system for quickly finding condoms that would fit. I wish they also put the actual millimeter sizes, because the widest width covers quite a large range of sizes but at least it's something.
Yeah, it doesn't look sexy, huh? It's got to be better than an ill fitting condom, though. I feel so sorry for it, all squished in there. It does help that a too tight condom actually makes his penis smaller, but it also makes his penis a little bit numb. It's sad. :frown1:When you get it I'd love to hear what it's like to use. They always look kind of odd and awkward to me.
I was considering hormonal because my doctor said she likes not having periods, but then I read on the mothering boards that a lot of women say that the hormonal one killed their sex drive and it came back on the copper one. Birth control pills killed my sex drive, but my sex drive was better on the ring because it releases fewer hormones. The IUD is supposed to work like the ring, very low dose hormones, but my drive is already lowered from prolactin, which makes lactating possible, so my sex drive would be taking a double hormonal hit.Hormonal or copper?
There's also My Size condoms, which they also sell.Oh, I didn't realise there was another company making those.
TheyFit condoms have been out of production for a while now, and as of the end of this month, you will no longer be able to buy existing inventory. Furthermore, the existing remaining inventory has an expiration date of April of last year, however, properly stored condoms usually last well beyond their expiration date.
The TheyFit condoms are supposedly being reintroduced in more sizes later this year, so check back with condomania periodically.
I would suggest he try the Magnum Natural Lamb condoms: Trojan Naturalamb Condoms | Buy Condoms Online at Condomania
Years ago I tried some natural "skins" and they were the most comfortable condom I ever used. They are quite expensive (I believe) but maybe cheaper than the alternatives. As you can see, they are quite wide throughout, 68 mm unstretched, flattened width, which equates to an unstretched circumference of 5.35". These natural condoms have a large pore size, so although they are effective for contraception, they are not recommended for prevention of disease transmission, but it doesn't sound as if that is an issue for you.
Or you can try the following, which is available in Europe, and I believe elsewhere, as they will ship near enough everywhere, and are very simalar to They Fit.....
Welcome to Coripa Condoms: Your CUSTOM FIT condom brand

I'll write about it in my blog post, as soon as we succeed at actually having sex, which I hope will be very soon. :biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1:

That was a lot of words to say, I'm having a hard time making up my mind.

I suspect that the factory that made They Fit is the same one making the Coripa condoms and they're the same condoms. I know They Fit couldn't sell wider ones in the US because of FDA restrictions on condom widths.
No! Not only am I not ready for #2 child, my doctor says it could be dangerous. :frown1:And squishyness leads to breakages - which you DON'T need right now!
I'm with you every step of the way. Well, maybe not EVERY step of the way (that might be a little creepy), but you know what I mean! I'm looking forward to it too (in a rather voyeuristic sense) :biggrin1:.
I wonder why you didn't like the copper IUD.It's a big decision to make!!! I recently had to go through the contraception decision making process - not fun! Initially my specialist said I couldn't use anything hormonal, so I was looking into the copper IUD and it didn't appeal at all. But he finally okayed me to take the implant and I'm now implanted! It's a big relief.
There are restrictions on condom widths?!? Where's the logic in that?
