Used to be embarrassed but as you age that goes away. Once years ago when I was buying condoms at a convenience store I got a comment. Told the lady I needed one pack of condoms, they were behind the counter. She grabbed the regular blue box Trojans without asking which pack I wanted so when I saw which ones she grabbed I said I need the magnums. She responded and said oh your a bigger guy.

No shame in buying condoms. It only means you are a responsible man. Protecting yourself from STDs and an unwanted pregnancy.

Don't care if they smirk, smile, or say something. Yout gotta do what's right for you.

I've been given looks before when I bought condoms. Id just give them a look back that said yeah I'm getting laid.

basically this lol I mean if I’m buying lube or magnums then I’m literally broadcasting my active sex life? Not something to be ashamed about

Like another I read said. I use to be slightly nervous about the act of buying them when I was first starting to use them. But after a while that feeling left and now it's just another item in the basket that slides across the scanner.

And nope, never had a cashier say anything about it as he/she slid them over the scanner. Very professional or just very non-caring on their part which always helped the "situation" go by and keep my nervous levels to a minimum.:D

Only in my young days I was nervous, but now I buy them online. I used to be a cashier when I was studying, and my good friend and colleague back then always said: "Hope you'll have some fun!" when people bought condoms in the supermarket. :grinning::grinning: Obviously they didn't made to many comments...

I remember in my much younger days putting quarters into the machine in the bathroom of the Citgo station. There was only one drugstore in town, and the pharmacist knew my parents well.

Nowadays, I'll slap a box on the conveyor belt, and no one bats an eye.

No I've never been embarrassed only frustrated if they haven't had what I wanted, I buy all my condoms online now anyway from theyfit. Much better condoms and usually turn up within a couple of days, when I'm down to the last couple of packs I just order more.

When I first started buying condoms, there was no 'online', but at least they were out in the drug store, usually close to the Pharmacist's counter (theft deterrence). Yes, I was nervous the first few times buying them, but noticed that the cashiers couldn't care less what they were ring up, whether I had other items of just the condoms. After that, I was no longer shy or nervous about buying them, as it meant I was getting laid! And I was very proud to be getting laid! Even when the larger sized condoms came on the market, there was absolutely no reaction from any cashier ever.

Nowadays I normally get a large pack from Amazon and shove it in my nightstand drawer. Back when I was in my late teens I had to buy them at the shop as I lived with my parents (and ordering a box of 50 condoms at home would have made for quite a story).

Was normally very cool buying condoms, but had an interesting experience when I was 18 or 19. I was on a trip with my girlfriend from back then and another young couple. On the first day we were reasonably tired so we called it a night quite early, around 9:30ish. Being young and not having enough privacy as we both lived with our parents, we were obviously very horny so we ended up making out the moment we got into our room. 5 minutes in I had my face deep between her thighs and was eating her out. She started begging me to fuck her when I realised I had forgotten to transfer the condoms from my usual bag to the backpack I took on that trip. Massive mood killer especially as she made a point to always use condoms as she wasn’t on any birth control - which I was fine with since the last thing I wanted was getting her pregnant. Anyway, we stopped in the act, told her my predicament, put my coat on and rushed out to get condoms from the nearest shop. When I got to the check-out I only had the condoms on the belt and the cashier was a very cute young lady. She smiled at me and told me to enjoy my night, which made me blush a bit as I smiled back, my girlfriend’s pussy juices still on my lips. I think she very well knew what would happen shortly afterwards, and I appreciated she kept it very friendly as opposed to that one time I got a very condescending look from an old pharmacist when I bought some lube and condoms.

Almost always I buy my condoms on-line, though obviously I have bought them at a shop. Never felt embarrassed.

Only once has the shop assistant said anything to me. It was a small corner grocery, and the youngish man behind the counter asked me if I had tried such-and-such a (new) brand. Unusual, perhaps, but nothing to be embarrassed about.
