I’ve joined this site for a month, and I’ve also searched the answers to my confusion for a long time, sadly, not so many results could solve my questions. And to be specific, I’m not referring to Arabs or Indians who are commonly hairy, I, instead, am East Asian (Including Chinese, Japanese or Korean, but I don’t want to reveal myself too much.), who has some, and soon to be more, hairs growing! I assumed that most people have noticed that Asian in these area seem to be hairless. So far, I only knew a teacher has chest hairs. To make things stranger, I’m the only guy in my family who faces this “hairy” situation. And that’s why I’m so helpless since it’s hard for me to find someone hairy around me to ask or share experience with me. So here I am, hope you guys can help me with my “hairy” confusion.
I noticed that I had some hairs growing on my chest in the early puberty, in that time they were barely visible, so I just ignored them because even I found it hard to spot them. And they seemed to grow in an unbelievably slow speed until recent months, I found out that hairs on my body, such as legs, pubes, happy trail, except chest ones, finally made some faster progress. They turned into darker, longer and thicker ones as adult-like. Few weeks ago, the hairs now even “climbed up” all the way to the center of my chest, and chest ones started to spread outward, too. Both become more visible even in the dim light. It looks like they’re trying to take over my bare skin, making their territories! And based on what I’ve observed, it is a high chance that I’ll be just like American or European men, who tend to be a “whole” hairy package. So I hope any East Asians here who are hairy can discuss with me, and non-East Asians are welcome to share your body hair growing, too! You guys can tell me how many East Asians you’ve ever met have lots of body hairs! I want to do some comparison as well.
So I’m really felt awkward and self-conscious since that's unusual compared to other guys here. I’m afraid someone spots my chest hairs, or I expose my over-hairiness by accident. Or on some occasions like swimming, SPA or steam room…and so on, which request shirtless, wearing revealing outfits or even nudity, my unusual body hairs will draw lots of attention. To avoid lots of questions from people is out of question, as I’ve expected. Being a shy guy, I just don’t know how to react if this really happens. Moreover, body hairs really don’t fit me because people have been verbally bullying me a lot by accusing me of acting effeminate. (Long sigh…) Guys here will say more resentful words to me once finding out a girly guy like me would have such manly features. I think I’ll confuse people like my body had confused me.
But to be honest, I do feel man up by these hairs, especially the abs’ one. I found it kind of sexy, even turned me on sometimes. I don’t know if any you guys ever feel the same way about your own body hair? Or it’s just me being a freak? And I’ve done some searching, finding out that most of women are not fans of body hairs, instead, gay men tend to find it attractive. And all people, even me, agreed that body hairs look better on a well-built or athletic body. So I’ve planned to work out more, trying to boost up my confidence. What do you guys think? Will female find it hot if I could gain more muscles?
BTW, is there any gay bro here can confirm what I’ve found in the internet? Do gay guys really admire body hairs? If so, ahhh…It’s really shy to admit that I did get hit on by guys a lot! Some experiences really made me uncomfortable. For instance, one supposed-closeted co-worker sort of sexually harassed me by grapping my crotch, a total stranger bear hugged me from behind out of nowhere, and a guy even stalked me while I was showering in the communal shower. I know these were just their own, personal behavior, not all gay men act like that. Anyway, I want to know what gay people find attractive or sexual-aroused when it comes to male body? I’m trying to figure out a way to make myself “less-advantaged”. Or I did suffer some depression for a while. And I’ll be more careful when being with gay friends, trying not to trigger their sexual desire by doing less-thoughtful actions like changing in front of them, or showing body hairs if they do find it sexy. I don’t want to put gay friends in such situations. It must be really hard for gay guys to deal unwanted sexual arousal caused by other guys’ casual behavior like being shirtless. Since I’ve sensed that and I feel sorry for that, so I won’t let any gay friends get hurt or embarrassed.
