Don't we all! We want to be treated fairly and some even want to be celebrated for who we love, which is outside the norm.
Yet when it comes to thoughts or political motivations, zero tolerance for anything other than the dominant group think of the moment.
If your sexual orientation is not the primary focus of your identity and that identity immediately aligns itself with one of two political parties that happens to have a very large list of public policy positions...well, you are just a self-hater or an idiot.
Either way, I must be in a minority. I can find someone attractive even if I don't think they are "a good person." Physical beauty is not an automatic reflection of the soul. Frankly, my dick doesn't seem to mind!

When you look like him, you can go about and get access to ass pretty easily. That's all well and cute until the person you're lusting after passes a law that strips you of your rights and enables companies to fire you or deny you employment and services based on your sexual orientation or gender identity. But hey, he's hot and makes your dick hard, so who cares about silly things like rights and freedom.

I get that no one should be outed, but gay or not, when you use your platform, in this case political, to fuck with other people's lives, you pretty much lose the privilege of those people not fucking with you. It's the basics of respect. You can give it automatically because you understand the shared stance as basic human beings (we're all just trying to live our best lives), but once you lose that respect, especially on this hypocritical shit, don't expect it to still be there. If it's not there and you sure as hell know why, then it's time to finally start considering those people you have clearly affected, especially when you're actually just like them. It's like people saying don't punch Nazis. Violence is never the real answer, but since the belief and actions that called for it are much worse, that punch is somewhat accepted as reasonable.
You got a problem? Deal with that problem. Ask for help while you have your hand down his pants if you need to, but don't make it a problem for everybody else who has tried so hard to overcome it. Ignoring is not overcoming btw. He knows what he is doing and keeps it secret for a valid reason, but this wouldn't be a big deal if he didn't have anti-gay positioning. While he's out there living his happy gay life in the not-so-dark shadows, he's keeping himself and others under water. He's just comfortable and rich enough to let any remorse go. What do you propose those others do? Individuality is important and all, but it can only take you so far. If people are holding you back for no reasons but their own, letting it go gets no one nowhere.

The vid is kinda hot to be honest. And to put in my two cents on outing people. Everyone definitely has the right to come out when they are comfortable and outing someone before they're ready is wrong BUT this I don't feel is the case. There is a difference between outing someone and calling out a fraud which is what he had been doing his whole (albeit short) political career.
