Connection Issues?

Is anyone else having connection issues lately or is it just me and my connection?

Rob_E had posted a while back that the site was becoming a lot busier and that the site needed some upgrading. I am sure some of it has to do with bandwidth and the processing of requests to the site.

If we help him out with memberships, he can probably perform the upgrades in a faster fashion.

Just my observation.

Me too... over the weekend and today has been horrendous!!

Not being nasty, but glad I'm not the only one... was ready to throw this thing out the window!!!

Well it's taken me 6 hours to get back on.... and I have no idea how long it will last for, or even if this will get posted at all....

I got booted around midnight last night and couldn't log back in. I tried again like an hour ago still no dice I had to come in through a link in my history. ​

Yep, this site has been fouled up all evening. There have been problems off and on for 4 months now. I think it's time somebody got this fixed...

Actually, the most annoying thing for me is that I keep getting the low-fi version of the board whenever I first visit here. It's been doing this since yesterday. It changes back to the normal version once I go into a different thread or another place, but it still bugs me.

same for me agnslz... it's almost like the extra-low bandwidth version, but sometimes i can't get on at all... but for me it all seems to go away after i clear my browser cache?!?

I had the same problem. I updated my bookmark, and that solved that issue.
However, something is still screwy with the server. I do hope they fix it soon.

If I had cash to spare, I'd buy membership so they could upgrade the server. This seems to be a server-side issue, with so many experiencing the same problem.
