Branches might seem so far apart, but they have and need the same roots.

Their life rises in sap and should the inner bark be broken, the tree will die no matter how strong the core :chinese:.

Leaf, root, bark ... all are conjoined as Tree Living as Tree.
No leaf is an island, entire of itself; every leaf is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.

My inner bark often gets muffled by a sturdy trunk

Was it Baba Wawa who asked Katherine Hepburn, "What kind of tree would you be"?

A nest of robins in her hair..."

I think that I shall never see a billboard lovely as a tree.

Perhaps, unless the billboards fall, I'll never see a tree at all.
