Watching this now and these actors and characters are literally knock off versions of the characters from Elite. This one looks so much like Polo in his scenes. The main guy Javier is Samuel.

It's more a continuation of the series "Like". Cant compare it to Elite.

Yeah, Control Z is definitely trying to appeal to that Élite audience. And while it's not bad, the show really isn't as sleek and well written as Élite. Some of the storylines are storylines we've seen before and we've seen done better. The actors do a good job though and some of the boys are definitely cute (especially Andres Baida!).

Liked them both, Éite and Control Z... and both are stories we've seen before. Remember "How to get away with Murder"? That's Élite. Still love them. Not gonna trash any hard worked for show.

Oh, I definitely enjoyed them both. I love my teen dramas hahaha. I wasn't trying to trash Control Z, I just prefer Élite over it. But both are really quite enjoyable.

(Also, I know Élite's set up and 'gimmick' is indeed very similar to HTGAWM, but I personally never really felt like they were all that similar tbh!).
