I have had self pics I traded come back to me, with other people passing them off as my own. On one hand it's a form of flattery, but on the other hand it's really lame. If people are ashamed of their own equipment, it's not my fault, so don't use my dick to pretend yours is something else. People are just retards.

I have not had anyone send my pics back to me and i know they are everywhere (because i have posted them all over the place). DAMN IT!! I want my pics to come back to me...jk. I dont get into trading much, but i do save loads of pictures for my own use.

I have seen the same pictures claimed by several different owners on different sites. I suppose the coveted copies are only of 9 inches or larger. i have had a buddies 11 inches come back to me with someone posting the pic as his own.

    :D  :D

That's happened to me a number of times but not lately... up to a week ago. On another site, a guy sent me a message and his main picture was an old pic of ME! What made it worse is that it was a pic I liked but had lost when my hard drive died!
There really isn't anything I could do about it so I just told the guy that it's sad that he needs to hide behind something that he's isn't and can never be.

Digital watermarking with an email address or AIM/Yahoo name would be an appropriate solution for this problem. I'm not talking just a written email/IM address on the face of the pic either, because anyone worth their weight in photoshop can remove that, I'm talking an embedded watermark that cannot be removed.

I would not advise keeping them to yourselves.

Why not? If your concerned about plagiarizism, no one can do it if there is no source matial.

Yeah I've had that happen too. There are pros and cons.

Cons: People I didn't indend on sharing my pic with have approached me and said they saw me on the internet. And someday someone I share my pic with will already have seen it claimed by others and not believe it's me!

Pros: The people who approached me were all my good friends. Besides, if they were looking at nekkid pix, they have no right to be too judgemental. I, too lost all of my pics one day and I was actually able to get some back because I found 'em on a website. (I don't have a cam right now) I actually think it's kinda fun to be able to say "Uhhh...nope-that's not you. It's ME!"

I agree it makes a mess, tho....since I don't have a cam at the moment - it might be hard to prove a pic is mine...hmmm. I guess I sure as hell can't run for political office now! Oh well...this is part of who I am.

    peace out. :)

i almost forgot until i read the thread above me, about 4 years ago i would go to the clubs and guys would come up to me saying they saw my pics online...i thought it was a line but i kept getting it for about 6 months...at that time i never put anything online but i did give some to a guy that was dating someone producing porn...i figured it was him that just posted them on a popular site.

    ;) ;)

that aside, who cares about watermarks and such---just dont show your face when your displaying a hard on or any nude of any kind...afterall it is just a cock and if you get your picture back then like others have said its a compliment.

Thanatos: This idea is a beam from the HEAVEN ! WATERMARK! Why didn't i think of htis sooner. Therefore, I know that if people ever steal it, they won't be claiming it has there own, nor will some unkown site will try to steal it and put HIS watermark on it... hmmm

It happened to me once. Six years ago I posted a few pics of my equipment somewhere on the Internet. Not very long after that I found my pics on another site, posted by someone with another name

Embedded watermarks in pictures can be easily remowed... That's no good idea. It's better to put your name and/or e-mail address on the picture, in big letters.
