I sometimes make a similar link but not from a preference angle. I think ethnicities whose women have larger glutes will have more male counterparts whose penises are above 6 inches. It seems somewhat logical just from a physiological angle but I'm not sure that will ever translate to preference on the part of the woman. Indeed I know women with big and small asses who do not have a particular preference for large dicks. If anything, I have a preference for taller women visually, but in bed it can get a bit more challenging than if I were with a petite girl. Lately I've been looking at smaller women more.
