Any other users have any reports?

I know that the "Personals, casual" section is likely to be a prime candidate for spam ads, but a lot of the genuine looking ads get flagged so they disappear in minutes - meaning you have to reply in minutes or the ad and therefore the reply address is dead and gone. Of about 25 ads on the London site today, just three are left!!

Is there any way of using Craigslist without having to check it obsessively or do you just have to take the luck of the draw at the times you choose to log in?

Yeah, it kind of sucks. A lot of guys are complete idiots and think if they flag the ad then they will have a better chance of being selected (ad gets flagged, less people are able to respond, higher chance you have to be picked). That logic is kind of retarded though. Plus, even if a girl doesn't get flagged she is going to get hundreds of replies. And even if you are the best candidate out of the 300+ replies there is no gaurantee she is going to look through all of them to find you.

Your best bet is posting your own ad.

I've seen where occasionally someone gets the bee in his bonnet & starts flagging like crazy. But I'm in a big city, and it's hard to flag 'em all . . . fortunately.

D'ya spose this is more of a problem in smaller locales?

Don't know, but wouldn't exactly class London as a small locale - particularly as the formerly most popular London site called Gumtree has now deleted its similar section so people are looking for alternatives.
