Also, can you imagine if the friend ever finds out? Assuming the parents are still together, the friend will consider the guy to be the "other woman" who stole her dad away or confused him.

She wouldn't think dad was confused by matt. Naturally she would be upset about them having sex and wonder if her parents would divorce over this issue.
