So normally a fan and a creator can only DM each other when the fan is subscribed to their profile. What's been happening in the last week is that creators that I was subscribed to in the past suddenly subscribed to my fan profile (which is completely empty). I didn't even know this was possible.

Since they are now subscribed to me, they can send me DMs. And it's all pay per view content. It's annoying and frankly, it's spam. I unsubscribed because I was no longer interested in their content. But now they found a way to send their content (behind a paywall) to me still.

Also, for some reason, I am unable to block them! I have reported this to Onlyfans and asked why I don't have the option to block them (perhaps because I only have a fan account and not a creator account).

I found this very annoying too. I have found a way to stop the spamming though. Find them in your 'Fans' list in your account; click on the '...' on their profile & then in the drop-down select Restrict. Not got any messages from them since :)

I opened a support ticket with Onlyfans. They confirmed that the block option is only available for creators and not fans. But honestly I think fan profiles should not be able to be subscribed to.

You can open their message and click the three dots and restrict them. That will stop the messages. Onlyfans isn’t going to do anything with your support ticket, I’ve tried.
Yeah, you're right... Thanks for letting me know. I also report them as spam every time they send a message. But I don't think Onlyfans actually does anything with it because Onlyfans basically wants creators to have as many subscribers as they can since they take a percentage.

I used to have this problem. The best way to stop it is to set up a creator account on onlyfans. Then set a price. You don't have to have any content at all. But the price prevents you from getting spammed by Onlyfan$ creators that try to subscribe to you to send spam messages. Creator accounts can function the same as fan accounts as you can subscribe to others with it.
