As a woman, who has done everything from shaving completely bald, to trimming, to the shapes thing, to letting it grow nice and bushy, I would like to know from the shrub-loving and shrub-tolerant community on what is 'acceptable' in terms of upkeep.

By upkeep, the no-brainer here is hygiene. So 'Wash it' is a big 'duh'.

Is it better to keep it closely cut, like a high and tight? Or just shaving the sideburns to keep strays from poking out of the undies? Or *gulp* waxing it so one looks like a playboy model circa late 90's landing strip?

I'm looking for new ideas for the canvas that is my beaver pelt, as well as reading opinions on underfoliage in general.

Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated

I like giving oral, but I can also find a bit of a bush hot. So I'd probably either cap it at 1-1.5 cm hair lenght, or perhaps a tighter trim around the lips to make oral less hairy

Just trimmed a little around the edges so it doesn't peak out from under the panties is great. Now, if your crotch fro is long enough to braid cornrows, you should probably use the clippers now and then to keep it short, but otherwise hair pie is fine.

for me for my head as well as bodyhair i kinda groom in a lazy manner....meaning i shave bald...head body included and then just kinda let it grow backtill i have about a half inch a month later and than back to bald......

this is cool for my chicks to...i like bald in fact love bald...feels so much better....but we live in a busy world...so a littel growth is no problem.....plus i ofen date black girls and too frequent shaving causes razer bumps......on the good side alot of african american girls are not that hairy to begin with.....my current chick has like three hairs on her leg.

I grew up snatching Playboys and Penthouses from the late 1970s and early 1980s, so I really associate visible pubic hair with female sexual power. I really like the idea that there is a secret garden 'down there' that I get to explore if I am lucky. Fully smooth has its place, but I really think a little hair is better.

As for you Das Leezard, I think dark hair on creamy skin is a really hot combo. So my take would be don't go fully bald. I also can see how too long can "get in the way". My take is trim everywhere until you are comfortable and leave it at that.

I prefer being completely shaved or trimmed closely. That's what I prefer, it has nothing to do with porn or what guys what. I like it and I like the way I feel when I masturbate. Especially when fully shaven.

I started keeping smooth since right after the birth of my youngest. It was mainly for hygene reasons. I had severely heavy periods and just couldn't stand not feeling as clean as I wanted to be no matter how often I bathed. Then summer hit down here in the deep south then swimsuit season came along and it became effortless to maintain my shave routine. Yes, I sometimes wax also, but the pain still makes me hesitate and I fall back to shaving. I don't know if I'd ever deviate from that until I was no longer having periods or sexually active. I like it that way.

For me, I would prefer trimming/shaving/waxing the bikini line to keep them from poking through the undies. Other than that, keep it as bushy/hairy as you can grow it. I like a thick crotch fro!
