Cuts On Foreskin...Why?

I just finished masturbating.

There are two cuts (always two cuts) parallel to each other.3-4mm wide and about the same length. Starting at the prepuce (hole) and going 3mm or so down the centre of my shaft.

Why do I get these? I never used to, its within the last few months. They heal in a few days but its annoying me.

From the little I've been able to find, it could be because of a tight foreskin (not TOO tight, I have unprotected sex etc fine) or that my glans is too big for the foreskin around it and is causing tears.

I'm guessing its the head thing, its quite small flaccid and grows quite a bit when hard. I sometimes think its small because my tight(ish) foreskin restricts it from growing?

There is no pain when masturbating or when the cuts appear, they just do.

Does it happen every time? Have you tried to jack off in a lambskin condom and seen if you were strokin it too hard or something? Not sure just a suggestion.

No it doesnt happen every time, like it will heal and then won't happen again for a few days. Then the cut will be small at first and get bigger the more I masturbate. Its two cuts and like a ring of dry skin around my prepuce.

Get yourself along to your doctor and ask. You might have a fungal infection. You might have sexually transmitted disease. Even if it is neither of these it is leaving you open, literally to infection. Don't take a risk on this and take amateur advice get yourself down to the doctor and get him to take a look or get along to your local STD clinic where you can get a consultation confidentially. They are specialists in all kinds of penile problems and it's their job so there is no more embarrassment involved than there is in getting your car serviced.

I had the same problem when I was about your age. It played havoc with my sex life for about a year. Mostly it would happen after vigorous sex with my girlfriend, although it also happened a few times after a heavy wanking session.

I think that it is just related to your physical growth. IIRC 23 is about the time when guys stop physically maturing (BICBW), so I shouldn't worry about it. Bits of the body grow at different rates and if your knob is growing faster than your foreskin then something has got to give. When I was at college I used to get cuts about 2mm long on my foreskin (I'm hung pretty much like yourself, from your pics and description), like you mainly along the top, and it meant abstaining from sex and masturbation for a few days whilst it healed, which I encouraged with Vaseline or Savlon. I never had any infection problems and after about the age of 22 I've only ever had a recurrence of the problem on a couple of occasions.

At the time it was a big deal and I thought on several occasions about whether I should make enquiries about getting circumcised but, again like yourself, 99% of the time I had no problems with my foreskin (and I enjoy having one!). I bottled out of a decision for ages and I'm eternally glad that I didn't go for it.

The only thing in your case that seems strange is the fact that you get two cuts identically spaced. That suggests that something is cutting you, although it may just be coincidence that the skin in those particular spots is thin, causing it to split in the same place every time. Could it be that if it is mainly happening when you are wanking that you are gripping your cock in a particular way and pressing your nails in without realising it in the heat of the moment? I wouldn't worry about it too much (although these things always seem a big deal when you're 20/21/22!) and, if you are seriously concerned about it then just drop along to your local health centre and speak to the practice nurse or a doctor, to put your mind at rest. You're foreskin is probably dry and cold, I have the same problem but I have like 50 slits all over the place making a ring around my dick. In the summer its ok, in the winter all hell breaks loose. Make sure your boxers protect you from the wind and cold, even a couple of seconds will dry your skin up, also your house should be well humidified and warm. My problem is that I have tight foreskin and a decently large organ (8.6 * 6.5), and I live in a very cold climate so the mix does not work well, at all. I have to go get surgery, but yeah relax at least you don't have 50 slits opening up every couple of days!

You should try what I say and then go see the doctor for some ointment, I'm sure they'll have something
