i actually felt a bit embarassed for monster as he continued to post flaunting his sex appeal when everyone already figured out he a fake long long ago. he kinda looked foolish most the time he was here. the sad part was he actually belived people took him seriously.

For better or worse, like it or not, people see you as a Mod first, and member second. You can write whatever you want, but this is how all of your posts are going to be viewed. So, when the members are clamouring for answers, and the only crumbs that you're throwing out to them, are your drippy bits of sarcasm, and mystic codes, yes, it doesn't look good on you. It looks overly defensive, and it looks difficult. Again, as a member, it'd probably go unnoticed, but as a Mod, unfortunately, you're just examined differently. Personally, I just felt that your continuous sarcastic sprinklings, were droplets of gasoline on a fire, that made both you, and the Mods, by association, look bad.

I DO get it. I know that there are tons of things going on behind the scenes. I know that there are times when you want to scream out what ACTUALLY happened, when people are speculating, and drawing their own conclusions. I know that being a Mod is generally thankless. You either have to find a way to deal with it, or quit it, and I'm NOT suggesting either over the other. I do have to say, that while I've given Mods grief, I've also given them praise, and I try to be fair and thoughtful with both, according to the situation, moderate, if you will. On this occasion, I just felt that your comments weren't helping an already volatile situation, on a site that has been in worsening chaos for a while now. In the end, however, you're right. You can write anything you want.

There's nothing here that I wasn't aware of already. I have several ways of dealing with it. I'm as open, cooperative and explanatory as I'm able whenever I'm able. When that fails to satisfy, as it so often does, I vent my frustration at the fact. It feels good to let it out once in a while.

I don't think it made matters worse as the matter has already been dealt with. This thread is basically a game of speculation following the event. There is no worse or better for it.

Many times he implied that he was in good with moderating team. In spats with people who called him a faker he often said that "He's been reported and there is a banning on the way", to one of his fans. Or words to that effect. It doesn't take a rabid conspiracy theorist to wonder what's up.

Why should be be necessary to "decode" anything here. It wasn't with HungMuscle and if you look at that thread, people were very happy with the explanation given for his banning and the mod team came off very well. What's the difference here? Why the lack of a straight forward answer to the question, " Why was monster banned?"

Edit- Monster should have been spanked for saying or implying that he was in good with someone on the mod team. Publicly. Letting him get away with that undermined the perceived integrity of the moderators.

Attractive or not I'm going to post how I feel. And it just so happens that I feel more than a tiny bit annoyed that because the membership can't see the precise mechanics when something does or does not happen they feel free to cast aspersions on our conduct.

Gillette, think of it as a government meeting held behind closed doors. Anytime people in power in any organization meet behind closed doors with the power to do as they please, people are suspicious. It doesn't matter if it's LPSG or a big corporation or the Privy Council of Monaco. It's just how things are. People will see the results then fill-in the blanks trying to piece together just what happened. Because it all takes place in secret and what occurs directly affects them, people will feel offended that they weren't trusted with the information and tend to fill the blanks the more sinister of theories.

Actually I am happy that he is banned. Though I have not contributed much to this site, I have however viewed virtually every post on this site, and I have found that monster has been a great poster (in terms of compliments and flattery) but a really bad person as he never once proved that he was himself. If he would have posted a real image of himself from the start, he would have been a great member (with thousands of post and what not), but why lie about your image and penis size? For all we know, he could have been a puny little pimpled-face boy with a high intellect looking to satisfy and attest his weak ego by trying to fit in with elders with huge cocks. I have no doubt that he was a good person (in the way he carried himself in the forums), but a person who cannot validate who he is, is a person who not only is lying to himself but lying to all those people who have been complimenting all those false images and dreams. I am sorry for all those members who fell in love with him and achieved an attachment to him, but don't bother in making it an issue because keep in mind that he was a fictitious.

I think many of us didn't see Monster's bad side. I never knew about some of the (admittedly unacceptable) things he did until this thread started, and I'm sure many others are the same. :smile:
Many of our experiences with Monster were quite pleasant ones.

As for his pictures, they may very well have been fake. I never really took the time to analyse/compare them, so I wouldn't know.
Maybe he didn't put up a verification picture because he has no camera...? Or maybe he was a fake, so couldn't. :dunno: Who knows? Nobody knows for sure (except himself). At the most, we can only make intelligent guesses regarding his pictures.

His gallery probably clouded people's judgement. I doubt he would be as well known if he were to have no gallery at all.

But, he's gone now. Some liked him, some didn't.
