Well, for me, my biggest irritation with you is your choice of screaming text, but that aside... You're mainly curious because of the way you invest so much into trying to prove how much you have nothing invested in this. But I've digressed again.
The "old" versus "new". Well, first you have to look at WHY would the "old" be irritated with the "new". Being new isn't inherently irritating in and of itself. Storming into a strangers home, and acting like you own the place, or insulting the occupants decorating scheme, well, is. While it's much less so than it ever was in the past, there are still some shades of a community left here. It's an established community, with patterns and ways of doing things, and local characters, that do change every now and again. There are good handfuls of people that join here every single day. Most, aren't viewed with any contempt or suspicion. It's really only specific actions of the "new", that end up turning the "old" against them. Again, aside from the fact that we typically can all get our points across without garish text, this isn't aimed at YOU, it's just a general illustration of the established ways that the "new" can become irritating.
