I tend to agree wit the skeptics about the bulge. It's not just the product of an 80 year old sag, but rather some condition that requires he wear a pamper of some kind. Dan Rather has always been "Dan Rather" and I respect him for that.

If you are a regular water of Chris Matthews on Sunday mornings you will see Mr. Rather on a semi-regular basis. I think he is in pre-dementia. He can hardly string two words together that make sense.
