He was able to do that by “coming out”. He got a cute amount of press for doing so. I’m not saying it was entirely calculated. But a lot of these guys only want to be “out” when it’s most opportune. If he was still with a chick and never publicly “came out” absolutely no one would still be talking about him.

I don’t know why some of y’all still stunt him. He’s proven to be a fraud, a stunt queen, someone who’s obsessed with “straight” and closeted guys, someone who’s indulged gay panic, someone who’s been accused of harassing. And more than anything, he’s not all that cute. Even Colton Underwood is more appealing looks-wise and personality wise.
