You clearly don't understand the point of our clothing, and that is okay. It's not for you. Don't buy it. It's not about a black t-shirt, it's about being part of a community when you are normally alone. Suffering from depression yourself I'm sure you know that you are generally alone with no one to talk to.
As far as your comments about my past life experience, I can't imagine you are a saint and have never made choices that you currently wouldn't. Do I regret the choices I made? No. Am I still that same person? No. Could I be? Yes. I could absolutely go back to that life if I chose to, but instead I am choosing to come back to the "99%" and build something from the ground up and help people. Because that is what I am choosing to do. If you don't want to believe me or be part of it that's your choice. I know I am doing the right thing by all of the people I have ALREADY inspired and heard from and listened to their stories at the markets we go to and online.
Giving people a creative outlet is one of the best ways to help someone struggling in their life, and I am excited to help people. It doesn't matter if our business is for profit or non profit, I am going to start a non profit the future, but it was too complicated to start right now. At any rate it really doesn't matter whether it's for profit or not, our goal is to build a community and for once acknowledge that those "influencers" you follow on Instagram don't have perfect lives and that there is nothing wrong with your life because you aren't always happy. That is the point of our brand. When you see someone wearing a shirt it's acknowledging that you understand we all go through difficult times. Maybe you aren't aware of this, but everyone is told to suppress their depression or sad feelings and show "good vibes only" the rest of the time. That's the worst thing someone can do.
Anyway you have a biased opinion on me, and that's fine I really don't care. I know the person I am, and I know the positive impact on the world I'm going to have, and honestly for you being so involved with mental health I would have expected you to understand our mission, because everyone else we talk to completely understands what we are doing. But I know it's because you're biased against me personally, and that's okay.
