Would like to know what y'all are doing to keep safe or whatever. Personally, for me it's been a long time since I've Rock and Rolled. Between finishing raising my kids and then dealing with several health issues such as various surgeries and shit. This question on a Musician's Forum, Photography Forum is out of place. The other one for COPD was bust, which I figured it would be. They don't do it due to oxygen, low energy blah blah blah....

Soooo, what are y'all doing to stay safe or just taking chances? For me I may have a condition I need to be careful with with lung issue anyway. But in my state of Orygun March 29th those of us over 45 with preexisting conditions are eligible for the vaccine. That's not 100% guarantee but it's added protection. This is really the only place I canask this question and expect to get a reasonable answer.

Making love wont give you Covid dude. I had sex with a positive Covid fuck buddy. I didnt get sick or any symptoms. Thats why I believe Covid targets certain DNA
You need to educate yourself..dude.

The CDC can help with that.

Good luck with having close contact with COVID positive people. You do know about being asymptomatic, right? ..right?

COVID-19 most commonly spreads during close contact
  • People who are physically near (within 6 feet) a person with COVID-19 or have direct contact with that person are at greatest risk of infection.
  • When people with COVID-19 cough, sneeze, sing, talk, or breathe they produce respiratory droplets. These droplets can range in size from larger droplets (some of which are visible) to smaller droplets. Small droplets can also form particles when they dry very quickly in the airstream.
  • Infections occur mainly through exposure to respiratory droplets when a person is in close contact with someone who has COVID-19.
  • Respiratory droplets cause infection when they are inhaled or deposited on mucous membranes, such as those that line the inside of the nose and mouth.

Herd immunity...yea....sure.....

Its possible that you get covid, and show no symptons, but you can infect others. Thats one reason you wear those masks

I have to excuse for the previous "dumbest" answer
But dude, get informations
You can infect others also.

why didnt i get sick then! Why is Covid effecting people with underlying diseases. Everybody who i know is healthy hasnt got Covid.

Not everybody who gets COVID gets sick. In fact, it appears that most people don't. A study last year showed that 85% of people who tested positive for the virus were asymptomatic that day. That means they were not showing any signs that they had it. So it's quite possible that you did indeed get the virus but you never developed any symptoms or only had mild symptoms that cleared up before getting bad enough to go to the doctor.

Also, COVID doesn't just affect people with underlying diseases. People who are obese, or have diabetes, are older, or other medical issues do indeed have a higher chance of getting very sick if they contract the virus. But there have been many stories of people getting very sick, and even dying, who had no known underlying medical issue.

So just because neither you and your "healthy" friends didn't show any symptoms or get sick enough to need to go to the doctor does not mean that all of you have avoided getting COVID.

Well let's see,the only thing that has affected dating for me has been lack of places to go out to and meet but on the hand it's actually helped.
Had more ladies come to my place to enjoy food and entertainment and has allowed them to leave or stay.
And staying has been amazing!
Also I'll be 46 this year.
I worked full time plus!

Haven't had much luck. Seems I haven't found someone willing to go out on a masked date. I can understand the caution as my sister got covid and we live a floor apart. Also, I come in contact with lots of people for my job as a cleaner. Maybe near the Fall or next year things will be different.

Well for me, as of tomorrow I am eligible for the vaccine due to my age and prior conditions. Which should make it a bit easier. I signed up for Facebook Dating for shits and giggles. I've had an account at Plenty of Fish that I just went through and updated. It's funny though I have to deal with a few - scores in the first place...I'm shorter now than I was then! I was short to start!!! Disintigrating Disc Disease in the lower back has knocked 2 1/2" off my height, I was short to begin with. Long hair isn't in anymore for men... ain't cutting it! I'm on SSI, although I do a little Photography on the side. My shitty health, and the fact I still can't find a goddamned car I can afford!!!! I live in a town of 9,000 souls, and am 13 miles South of Eugene, Orygun. Other than that I guess it's just a matter of Patience, to quote GnR.... Tells ya about how old I am!
