I have a question for the women.based on lots of guy talk and beer with other guys,I started wondering if some women feel the same way guys feel about dating a new woman,do women also think about how drop dead gorgeous the guy is and can’t wait to take things to the next level because you’re curious about how great the sex might be with him?,or is it just a guy thing?

Erm. Why would that be a gender specific thing, to be excited? Genuinely not tryin' to be shitty/sarcastic.

Well I alot of men talk about being excited about a woman's sex appeal I was just wondering if women felt that way about men as well
Just wondering if men and women are kind of alike in that way , being that they can be so different in so many other ways

Maybe the folk I know are generally enthusiastic 'bout life, but yeah, the people I know (across a spectrum of gender identities) get excited about the folks they date. Including anticipating when things get frisky (though I have friends on the ace spectrum which makes it a lil different of course).

Do I think about it? Maybe a little. Do I think it's to the level that men do? NOPE. Not in the least.

For me, I think of it more as "will we be compatible? will he understand how I like to be touched? will he respect my boundaries? will we fit well together? will he care as much that I get there as he does himself?" vs a "OMG I can't wait to add another notch to my belt" like some men do. Besides, in my experience, guys have it much, MUCH easier than women when it comes to getting off. FFS, a woman can be a total pillow princess who lays there and so long as she's warm, wet and clean, you can get yours.

Yes that's what I thought, the sexes are different, but alike in some ways

I'm more of a "will I want to smother this person with a pillow after I cum?" kinda gal.

A "what's the Uber situation in their local after 3am?"

A "if we get tacos on the way to my place, will I fall asleep when we get there?"

"Should we have really doubled the last round? Does this place serve tacos?"

Relationship thoughts "would I let this person have my Netflix password?"

"Will my doggos be okay with sharing bed with this person?"

"Would I follow them on social media?"

As far as me getting to the point of an actual date? Yeah, I'm stoked, but realistic. And probably more interested in who the person is and not what they look like.

ETA: aspects of peoples personality and bearing will tell ya heaps about how well they get friskelaty. Attentive? Curious? Engaged? Those traits get me all twitterpated and eager.

Yes men need to educate themselves more when it comes to women, trust me I'll tell my friends, I'm glad I'm getting some answers, so the next time we have guy talk and beer I'll have some answers for them

So you think of it in a different way than men do

It’s been a long time since I was excited about a date. Most of the time dates have been with guys I met online and it’s the first face-to-face. Sure, I have hoped for chemistry, but most of the time I’m wondering how long will I have to wait before I call it. Of course he’s into me (duh! Lol!) so it gets a little awkward when I have to say this isn’t going to happen.

Thank goodness I gave all that up!

I've been married a long time now so it's a lot of years since I was dating, sure physical appearance/attractiveness had a bearing for me in as much as what I personally find attractive, after all it's the first thing we're all presented with and I don't mind admitting I have been guilty of being a little shallow when I was younger.
After that my next thoughts are if this guy is going to turn out to be a jerk or not and whether we would get along tbh xx

When I met my husband he got in my brain from the start. But there was no way I was going to be that intimate with him for a while. Yes, I was anxious about it, but I also knew he wasn't always so fastidious and in older days took every opportunity to get his rocks off as he could.

Them rocks had to be pretty clean to even touch my lilypad. Poor thing, I made him get tested not once, not twice, but three times. Of course, by that third time I was going out of my mind with lust. But we had been seeing each other for a while then.

I can only think of one person that I slept with on a first date, and I had known him for a while and planned that night for a long time. So worth it!

By otherwise, I'm pretty patient when it comes to let's see what happens next. Que sera sera.
