    Hi people.

I´ve read that David Duke has been invited by two spanish extrem right parties to give some lectures. I didn´t know about this man. I have heard that he was a leader of the klan and he has been kept away from the politic.

I can´t understand what are spanish neonazis expecting of this man. I don´t like this.

Can you tell me anything about him? I´d like to "hear" opinions. Thanks.

He claims to be a former Klansmen from the state of Louisiana here in the United States. He's ran and lost in various races for political office. I think it's so absurd that he's been going around speaking to these sorts of rallies around the world. He spoke at one recently in Russia too.

    Here's his Wikipedia article:

Have you heard him? I mean, beyond the ideas and propositions, would you say that he is someone to listen to or just a stupid with some power?

Well, he's certainly not stupid, but what he says is. He is well spoken and I'm sure the people who agree with his views think that he's just great. But when you get beyond his good speaking abilities and listen to what he's actually saying then you see that it's crap no matter how well it's presented.

Is not 'Por que no te calla? more like 'why don't you be quiet', a question, it is being reported as 'shut up', a command.
And also that it was a response to Chavez having said a former Spanish Prime Minister was a fascist, I listened to video clip of it, it seemed that Chavez was speaking out of order, running on, not allowing the person who was supposed to be speaking do so, the person presiding repeatedly was trying to get him to be quiet.

I think the people of Venezuela have elected an even worse flake than the people of the US.

Re Duke, I don't think very many people in the US would even know who he is, I think I have seen articles about him twice in thirty years. When he was head of the Klan in Louisiana, and when he ran for office. I have never actually heard him.

Exactly. It was like saying “shut up!”.

Chavez was continually interrupting the Zapatero´s speech, calling fascist to Aznar. Zapatero is the current socialist President of Spain and Aznar, conservative, is the former. Chavez accuses Aznar of supporting the last failed attempt to overthrow him. Chavez also reproaches Aznar for supporting the invasion of Iraq.

You are right when you say that Venezuela has a worse “flake” (what do you mean? Something like corn flakes?) than USA, and the thing will turn to worse and harder when he finally change their Constitution. He is a dictator, although he has been elected, and above all, he is a clown. But our King doesn´t have to react that way. He has not an executive role, he is just the representative head of the State, he can´t order a President to be quiet. He has to smile and be kind. Little more than that.

About David Duke; lately, Spain´s having troubles with immigration. This is a small country and currently we are the second nation in the world (after USA) receiving people. Society and economy are not ready to these changes, and racism and xenophobia are starting to appear. Other European countries, like France and Austria, are suffering the advance of the extreme right; Switzerland has an extreme right Government. This is a sad situation.

So I was worried about the importance and the credit of somebody like David Duke. If he is an important people, means that spanish neonazis could be getting strong.
