Dear woman who feels insecure about something,
How many times have you told someone you care about or perhaps love, that something about which they feel insecure is "fine just the way it is?" Maybe they worry they are overweight, are starting to lose their hair or have too small a penis, or whatever. When you reassure them you want them to believe you... to know that you are sincere. To feel good about themselves. That even though they may not be society's definition of physical perfection you love them; really love them. We feel the same way towards you. Here is why...
It's not about your less than pearly white teeth that are not so perfectly aligned. It's about your smile and how your smile lifts my spirits every time. It's about watching you enjoy yourself, feeling good, having fun and laughing. When you are smiling, everything in that moment is good!
It's not about the color of your eyes or the fact that you need glasses. It's about watching your eyes light up with joy, widen in anticipation, gleam with pride and seeing that special spark in your eyes when you have something sexy on your mind. Your eyes are beautiful! They were the first thing I ever noticed about you. Honestly. By the way, you were smiling at the time!
It's not about your hands needing a little extra lotion these days. It's about the strength I feel in them, the things they can create, the reassurance I feel when you hold me with them, the thrill I get when you touch me there... yeah, you know where!
It's not about your smaller than you think I wish they were breasts, or those stretch marks you think you need to cover up, or your pudgier than it used to be tummy or larger than you wish it was behind. It's about how at those moments when I am touching you my hands, aw hell, all of me, suddenly comes alive. Please relax and enjoy those moments with me. In between those moments, know that I will be looking at your eyes and watching you smile and holding your hand... ok, I'll be checking out your behind too! And, I will be looking forward to more of those moments I mentioned a minute ago.
It's about all the things you are, not the parts you're made from.
I wish you would see yourself the way I see you. You are beautiful to me.
