I'm incredibly fucked off right now, one decision has ruined my night and entirely pissed me off.

Have you ever been in a situation where one decision has ruined something for you, or made your life somewhat better?

That's actually a very good advice. Regrets are a waste of emotion, there's nothing you can do to undo whatever mistake you did, just learn from it and look forward.

Pick yourself up and walk it off. Excellent advice gentlemen.

Been there, done that. Yes it pisses you off and you hate being out of the money, but in the long run, you can always earn money back and you just make sure you take what this person says and does in future with a grain of salt.

At the end of the day, you still have your home, food in your belly, and health for your body. That is more important than any amount of money.

If it wasn't your decision there's nothing you can do about it. We've all probably had it happen to us. Recently I was short listed for the job of a lifetime but in the end I didn't get it.

So I had a little pity party and the next day moved on. No point dwelling on it.

Oh yes!. usually that bad decision starts with deciding to have just one  more drink, then the bad decisions and bad outcomes continue from there

Don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.

    Otherwise, easy come, easy go.

We all make decisions in life. Sometimes right. Sometimes wrong. when they are wrong we learn about life and the bad ones make us wiser and stronger.

If it wasn't your decision, then it's not your fault. Can you give us a little more detail?

Depending on the situation that is much easier said than done.

I agree with you; but I still wouldn't mind a bit more information. I dunno, I have a feeling this is a little more serious than losing 1,000 pounds betting on the ponies. Especially given the fact he said the decision wasn't his. Given his supercilious attitude in many of his posts, I can't help but wonder if his monetary problem is perhaps trust fund or inheritance related. In which case it really is a big deal.

Truer words were never spoken! For a hot young, buck you certainly do give the advice of a sage old man.

Ok, maybe I did make it sound more serious then it actually is, but don't worry and thanks for you concerns.

I bet around 300 quid, which is roughly $600 on a football match, which up until the 69th minute of this match, I was winning and was going to be in alot of money.

The ref made a huge mistake in giving the opponents a penalty which was obviously not and ruined the whole game, meaning that my team lost. So I'm out of pocket because of his mistake.

As you can tell, I was extremly angry because my team lost and could be out of the Euro 2008 and I also lost a huge amount of money. Damn!

Dont blame the ref. Any bet can be a losing proposition. It was your mistake to make the expensive bet. Especially if you are not working right now. Even if you are, you would have more fun losing $600 at a casino (if you could afford it)
