There was a thread about this earlier, a long time ago.

I have what I would consider "average sized balls" and a fairly high pitched voice - some have said a "youngish" voice. I do not see the correlation at all. Maybe the correlation would be the endowement... but wait... that myth would be shot to hell, too!

When I was singing daily in college, I could sing below the range of a piano on a good day. Since I graduated, I stay well in the bass range up to a mid tenor range. You lose range if you don't use it. My voice changed quickly when I was in 6th grade (no I wasn't held back). I have large testicles. Correlation? Maybe.

I have proof there is no correlation, since i am a basso and have fairly big testicles (even if they do look small compared to my penis) while a friend of mine is a basso too but have very small ones.

I have a very deep voice. Do decent impersonations of Isaac Hayes, Barry White, Orson Welles, etc.
I'd rather have the real Orson Welles (not the dead one but when he was alive)

It would make some sense if there was any correlation between testicle size and testosterone levels. Testosterone contributes to the thickening of the vocal cords during puberty and the deepening of the voice that goes along with that.
Curiosity here, and maybe you--or someone--knows the answer--I had a rather deep voice as a child (still do) but is there testosterone production going on a that time in life, I mean to the degree that it would effect a voice pitch? Being a short kid the voice never fit me--but came in handy when cutting class and having to play dad when speaking to school officials on the phone:smile: Additionally, my voice did not change after I lost one testicle-- What I would be asking here, is, how much does testosterone play a role in all of this and how much is simply genetics or other factors?

That's amazing! How much lower than a piano? At only 27.50 Hz, the low A on a piano is pretty damned low, you can just almost count each vibration. When pitches get down in the 20 to 25 Hz range, they are almost inaudible, more something you feel than something you hear. <g> you could be singing duets with a contrabassoon!

I sing.... in showers, in my car, in karaoke bars...

I used to sing in the halls at school and they tried to get me to join chorus but I knew the teacher was a fruitcake so I never did.

I like fruitcake with lots of nuts. I would've join chorus--if they offered nutty fruitcake.
