What's the proper definition (in sexual terms) of the term "daddy"?

Into what exact age group does a "daddy" properly fall?

Often when I checkout out a "daddy" web site, it features elderly men with gray hair and pot bellies. (No offense to anyone out there with gray hair and a pot belly, of course.) It seems to me that that type of man is more of a "grand"-daddy.

My idea of a sexual "daddy"-type was a fully grown, adult man (as opposed to a teenage boy or a "twink") with maybe some chest hair and even perhaps some attractive, sexy facial hair like a stache or a beard. The age group would range from 30 to maybe as high as 45 or even 50 IF the man was still in good physical shape and wasn't showing too many signs of aging.

Specific examples of MY idea of real "daddy" types would be, maybe, Chris Meloni, David Boreanaz, and Gerard Butler.

As you can tell, daddy types are definitely my sexual preference!

So, is my image of a daddy described above correct or not? If not, please let me know your opinion. Thanks!

As for strictly personal taste, my ideal Daddy is someone who is I guess classified as a Silver Fox, considerably older and more mature but also keeps himself in good shape and takes pride in his appearance.

In taking those into account I think that the ideal physical representation of my ideal Daddy type would have to be former porn star Derek Steel and Anderson Cooper.

I guess those that would fall into your own father's generation or definition. I've known very young proceational daddies who are only actually twinks, daddies that are actually grand-fathers!! And also a few great-grand-daddies that still look hot!!!

for me, daddy is simply a playful term of endearment, he doesn't necessarily have to be significantly older

If anyone here likes horror, check out Jeffrey Combs, who I feel is a majorly hot horror daddy. And many of his younger female fans would agree.

Here's a random pic of him, though better pics exist.

Any other hot older horror actors come to mind?

There was a famous line in "First Wives Club" Goldie Hawn in a drunken state is talking to her bartender and states: Sean Connery is about 300 years old, but he is still a stud.

I qualify as a "Daddy" in the eyes of some I would guess, but in all honesty I am not really comfortable with the classification.

I am a 57-year-old 5'9" dude who weighs about 185 pounds and it is not all fat. I am covered in fur from head to foot and one I guess has to fit into some stereotypical mold.

I am told I am not an "otter" because I am too heavy, I am told I am not a Bear because I am too thin. I am in constant amazement of the new way to "cubbyhole" people into some sort of classification.

Remember the hanky codes?

Not again!

I'm 53 and don't consider myself a grand daddy at all and would take offense to being called that. I've also been complimented that I don't look 53.

I think that if you're old enough to legitimately be someone's dad, then you're a daddy. My ex BF is 24 and I am the same age as his father so... BTW, he called me daddy once and I went off on him - I mean, I got angry - I went off on him later. :biggrin1:

Unless they are from Indiana, in which case it would be "Hoosier daddy?"

OMG! That needed to come with a spew warning

Daddy is a mind set not an age defining name. Some men get really turned on by being called daddy in the throws of passion....others it turns their stomach. To each their own.
