Ignoring what pisses us off might be part of the reason we're all in this mad-house of a Presidential administration.

I don't agree. The time to speak your mind is Always. I do not fuck with the idea of "well he's President now, sit back and accept it".

He works for All of us, even those of us who did not vote for him.

ETA, I do agree that there needs to be more actual Discussion than tooth gnashing. But you get me, right?

Especially when one looks at the kind of rhetoric that gained him the White House, the mentality to which he DELIBERATELY appealed, and STILL does, the people he's empowered, and the kind of people his rhetoric inspires.

Recently, within about a week or so he's in effect said transgender people are not fit nor worthy of serving in the military, immigrants are unwelcome unless they speak English, he's impugned the qualification of African American college students, encouraged cops to engage in even more police misconduct, and reportedly called an entire state a "drug infested den."

And in addition to all of that, made NOT so veiled threats against states whose representatives didn't cow tow to HIS wishes. So no, that's not the kind of s----------- that anyone (with any conscience, I would THINK) can sit back and accept.
