A hard-working guy like Biden who knows his shit shouldn't have to be sacrificed to pay for Obama's arrogance and incompetence. The ticket should be Biden/Clinton.

They'll hold the base, and keep the swing voters. It doesn't matter who's the VP, Obama will not carry PA, OH, FL, or any of the midwestern states this go-round. Biden and Mrs. Clinton are doing most of the work anyway, Obama just loves being the MC.

He has shown no real interest in governing, so he could get a show on late night and make millions and do what he does best, and let the people like Biden and Mrs. Clinton who take the work seriously and don't care about being popular or being cool try to put things back together.

Huh? Arrogance and incompetence?

Yeah, I have nothing else to say you because you don't understand anything about governing and your person animus towards President Obama is ridiculous and unfounded. If that is the case, Hillary Clinton is just as arrogant as Obama, and I am being very nice about that.

Only in the US, would any confident and competent black man in a position of power would be considered "arrogant" and a black woman be a 'arrogant, hypocritical black b*tch" in this myopic, dog-whistled bigoted garbage we call "American culture"...

Nope, not going to happen. The both of the Clinton's have egos out of this world and cannot fathom being anywhere in position of power without being 'top dog' to run the show.

I have heard over the years, Clinton took the post of Secretary of State as appeasement, but she gets the benefits and privileges of working 'independently' of most of the other cabinet members thus it works for her.

If she runs in 2016, good luck with that. Many black voters around my age aren't as forgiving to her after she played the dog-whistle racial politicking game in 2008 during the primaries. Many people I know to this day look at her with the side-eye because of that and still do not like her.

Robert Reich is probably correct. i couldnt be happier. Hillary Clinton for VP!! you bet. Joe Biden has often said aloud and in public, long before he became VP that he wanted to be sec. of state. He will probably get his chance. good for America; good for Joe and Hillary.

What is your basis for such an assumption?

I don't see this working for two reasons:

1. Too many people dislike Hillary Clinton. She divides the party, and that is a big reason her run for President failed.

2. It would weaken Obama's credibility, something he cannot afford right now. He picked Joe Biden and changing that now would create a point of attack for the opposition, and could be a significant blow to the campaign.

Wrong! Polls show that Hillary Clinton would be a shew-in. Democrats are going to bury the Republican nominee when it's known who it will be. I think Republicans are finished for a very long time. They're anti-people and are against everything it takes to move this country forward for working people. I think the real reason Repubs don't want to lose is Democrats putting another Progressive on The Supreme Court....which will change the direction of the country for a long time to come.
